Yuma Palms Regional Center offers four main shopping districts; including a village, a power center, a regional center and a Restaurant Row. Walk through the actual strap-iron cells and solitary chamber of Arizona Terriotory's first prison. By 1907 the prison was extremely crowded, and there was no room on the prison hill for expansion. A new facility in Florence, AZ was built and the last prisoner left Yuma in 1909. The prison also served as a high school during 1910-1914. Empty cells provided free shelter for families during the depression. A must see museum during a visit to Yuma!
