Lewis Smith Lake is a 21,000 acre reservior in Walker County. It is a great lake for fresh water fishing, boating, sking, and swimming.

Walker County Lake is a beautiful outdoor location in which families can enjoy fishing, and picnicking, all while taking in the wonderful scenery.

This facility includes an indoor/outdoor pool, fishing pond, and playground for the children to enjoy. You can also get in some sports time on their soccer & softball fields.

Bevill State is a two year accredited college located in beautiful downtown Jasper. It features a dining hall, library and is conveniently placed right next to a park with a walking track and playground.

Horse Creek is an 18 hole golf course, located in Dora,AL. It features a pro shop and driving range.

The Birmingham Zoo covers 122 acres, with over 200 various animals. It features several interactions including petting zoo, giraffe feeding and camel rides. While your there you can enjoy an incredible lunch at one of the cafes, and finish the day out with a train ride.

Splash Adventure is a water and amusement park covering over 200 acres and features roller coasters and over 10 water rides. Enjoy the many food and beverage options, and gift shops while there also.

The Birmingham Civil Rights Museum is located in downtown Birmingham. It is a large center featuring memorials dedicated to the Civil Rights movement in the 1950s and 1960s.

McWayne Science Center is a three level museum located in downtown Birmingham which features an Imax Dome, Naturescope, and Dinosaur exhibit. You can also get hands on in the Art & Tech exhibit.

The BJCC is conveniently located in downtown Birmingham. This center hosts a variety of events including sports, and entertainment. It also in accomodating to large conventions and has many food and beverage choices right next door.
