Texas State Railroad runs many times a year and for many different occations. The railroad is known for being the first to offer the "Polar Express" experience during the Christmas Holiday Season. Holiday Inn Express Palestine is the host hotel for the Texas State Railroad and features many art work pictures of the actual trains that the Texas State Railroad uses on its line from Palestine to Rusk Texas.
