Globe Theatre

One of the prides of Odessa, Tx. The Jackalopes Hockey season is always something to look forward too. Formed after 91, after the Ector County Coliseum did an over 5 million dollar renovation to add an ice rink. Every season holds something new, and the Jackalopes are all about local support and showing their fans how much they care. If in the area during this time, it is a must see to go to a Jackalope game.

Presidential Museum

Odessa's Presidential Museum and Leadership Library, on the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, is the only facility of its kind in the United States—dedicated to the office of the Presidency, not any particular holder of the Oval Office. Ratliff Stadium

Ratliff Stadium is a stadium in Odessa, Texas. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field for the city's two public high schools, Odessa and Permian High Schools.. It was the stadium used during filming of most of the football action in the 2004 movie Friday Night Lights, an adaptation of a 1990 book about Permian's 1988 football season.

Meteor Crater

3100 Meteor Crater Rd, Odessa, Tx 79765

A 165 foot shaft was sunk in the center of the main crater primarily to locate the main mass of the meteorite, which was believed still buried. However, the shaft revealed that there was no huge mass buried. It is now known that the mass, of an estimated 70 tons, which formed the main crater, was traveling at such a high rate of speed that it exploded and vaporized upon contact with the earth. Therefore, the main crater is a "explosion crater". There are also 4 small craters as well
