Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pet friendly We typically stay one night twice a year at the Holiday Inn Express in Bishop; on our way from So Cal to Washington State and then back. We choose to stay at this hotel because it is pet friendly as we travel with our small dog and the hotel is very convenient to a park with a dog area. We also like that it is close to restaurants. The room is comfortable although feels a bit small. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. The morning breakfast is very satisfactory and the staff always friendly and courteous. It would be nice to have a handicap parking space available at the back of the hotel. May 2, 2015

On a recent stay to the Bishop Holiday Inn Express, I was looking forward to a great room in a clean quiet hotel as I had received in the past. What a disappointment. Laundry facilities were FILTHY beyond belief, Stairway carpets OLD and filthy. Definitely need to be replaced. Room was so, so but not nearly what the East Coast Holiday Inns are like. I think if I ever need a Holiday Inn Express, it will be on the East Coast only. Bishop was not maintained. April 30, 2015

Everyone is always very welcoming and rooms are quite and I always have a good nights sleep. I use this HIE when I do an M/C trip from Vegas. Thanks again for the great accommodations. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fron desk faux pas When I checked in, my IHG rewards was not logged in yet, so I gave the front desk clerk my number. She promptly logged it in and found my account. I asked if she was going to offer me points in lieu of "goody bag." She said I was member without status. I said I was at the gold level last time I looked. Not according to what she was looking at. When I got to my room, I got online, checked my account status, and sure enough my level is gold. This is not the first time this has happened at HIX. This needs fixing, and how about those points?
