Breakfast wait staff was HORRIBLE

Breakfast wait staff was absolutely horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Clerk almost forgot to give us our room keys. She did in fact forget to give us our breakfast passes that were pre paid. But was quick about fixing the issue. Ambiance and entertainment were amazing.
Poorly managed resort

The worst part of our stay was how poorly managed the front desk was. There were always long lines that moved slowly and this terrible policy that beach/pool towels could only be found at the front desk. On top of that, after waiting in that long line, most of the time there were no clean towels. I visited the front desk for towels 5 times on Saturday starting at 8:30 AM, finally around 2 PM when I went and really complained, the front desk went somewhere else and found me 4 towels. The bath towels were no better. 4 people in our room and we could never get housekeeping to bring us more than 2, and when we asked for more towels, they never had any and it was a long time to get them. I would be fine letting the towels dry in the room but there was nowhere to hang more than 1-2 towels plus we had to hang our swim/beach clothes somewhere to dry. The hotel room was not clean, significant rust on most metal objects in the room, the floor was so dirty that walking around barefoot for only 5 min or so my feet or socks were black. In the A tower each floor had an ice machine yet only the one on floor 3 worked with a sign on each saying you could buy ice at the front desk, yes the one with the long slow line. Why would I buy ice when you should have your machines working? The resort is in a nice location, reasonably priced, and very nice beach access just the rooms need some touch ups, better cleaning, and the resort should be better managed. As a Platinum member, I have stayed in a lot of IHG hotels and this one ranked pretty low.
Great location on the Gulf

Nice location on the beach, plenty of redo and things to do close by. The pools, bars, and food on site was nice. They had an arcade, pool table, ping pong, and a couple of other things to do in the lobby area. Nice big lobby with places to sit, relax, and spend time with friends and family. The rooms and hotel is somewhat dated and if you are into an updated room and luxurious updates, the price point might not be good for you. However, if you like access to the beach and ocean, having three pools to choose from, swim up bar, and a lot to do with friend and family it might be worth it to you. We were out of the room for most of the day so we enjoyed the location, amenities, and things to do around town.
Unique Experience for Holiday Inn

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort for a business trip. Check-in was relatively quick and smooth and the staff upgraded me to a king suite with a perfect view of the beach, which honestly made my stay. The room amenities were nice and I had no issues other than wanting more caffeinated coffee pods in my room. The food at both restaurants was very good and it was nice not having to run out to grab dinner some nights after a long day of work. Overall a great stay.

Check in is at 4pm. We were not allowed to check in until an hour and a half later due to the rooms “not being ready”. Lobby was extremely hot. There was a piece of poop floating in the pool. The only good thing about this hotel was the beach access.

Even though its the main website please always call the actual hotel or they'll double book your reservation leaving you stranded and make sure the perks you're willing to pay extra for are even included in the reservation or else you'll be like me paying extra for breakfast and umbrella and beach chair rental a good 50 dollars

I stayed from 8-5-25 through 8-9-25 !!
And will never stay there again. Tuesday night the floor became full of water my wife slipped n fell at 3am.
Told front desk first thing Wednesday morning. Did not hear from management until Thursday evening about the situation.
Pools were all very dirty. Not cleaned until I complained Thursday evening. I took pictures of 13 lawn chairs that were ripped and unusable. Sand all over the pool. Bottle caps in the pool. A light laying on the floor of the pool with wires exposed. Filthy n very dirty. When I told Andrew the manager all of this. First he agreeed n said he was aware of the conditions and apologized deeply. Not once did he ask if my wife was ok.
Because of prior engagements I could not just check out until Saturday a day earlier then planned.
I have not been reimbursed for Saturday night which I did not stay at the hotel n was charged. And Andrew also said he was refunding me $100 a day that I stayed and my $250 in deposits I was charged. And he was going to give me 50,000 points.
I have not received ANYTHING To THIS POINT. WHAT IS OWED TO ME IS:
Saturday nights charges I did not stay there
My 2 deposits one of $100 n one of $150
What I was promised was $400 off my total bill and 50,000 points. And my deposits returned.
I have 45 pictures of the conditions of this resort. A call to the health board, BBB , and google reviews n a call to my attorney all on hold. I will give you the opportunity to make this right. I do have a heart and understand it’s not all YOUR FAULT. BUT I NEED A CALL MONDAY BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS.

This hotel is perfect for families of all ages, the staff working there really cares about their jobs. Everybody seems to be having a good time.

Friendly staff, great location, on site food was good, Rooms were clean, Elevators were a little sketchy but overall great stay. Easy access to pools and the beach, will for sure stay here again.

Hotel common areas very smelly of weed, despite non smoking rooms and areas. Hotel staff unfriendly and did not greet us. Not staffed well at bars and service areas.
