My husband and I were celebrating our 23 year anniversary.
We were very disappointed in the desk customer service when checking in.
The young lady greeted me with a thanks for joining the hotel and thanked me for being a rewards member however and the end of signing all the paperwork and she giving me my parking pass. I was walking away with my mind pre occupied with everything I had to do. The young Lady deliberately spoke Loudly to me “ You Welcome” I really felt like that was very rude and unnecessary as if she was implying that I was not thankful for her serving me.. that was so far from my mind.
I really kinda felt bad that I was preoccupied when I left the counter and second guessing myself. But after a few minutes later passing this young lady walking through the lobby I smiled at her and she deliberately turned her head the other way and kept walking. I was surprised but it allowed me to know that her customer service skills are not where they need to be with working at a front desk she definitely needs more training.

10 minutes later I went to go and take the cart back down stairs I passed another employee walking down the Hallway I spoke and how are you? He looked at me and never opened his mouth and did not give eye contact.

The room were not inviting at all the lamps are rusted and the fixtures are worn out and you could hear the air and wind whistling through the front door. The bed was to hard we felt uncomfortable and were uncomfortable.
My husband and I checked in at 4:30 pm and checked out at 6: am the next day.

Great stay! My family and I enjoyed our stay very much! The view is amazing. Adrian at the restaurant was awesome, and made sure our family was taken care of. All the of the staff was very pleasant.

Being charged twice or double for room with no solution after several calls to the hotel, almost a month later and not solved!
Also the restaurant H2O charged us double for dinner. Once on one card and once on another card which apparently to them did not work!

overall when comparing the room to an average hotel room, the room itself was alright (8/10) . the rest of the property needed updating and repair. staff was great and location also was great. however, this being labeled as a freshly renovated resort is slightly misleading. definitely one of the lower end resorts i have stayed at.

Pictures make it look great, rooms are ran down and bed must have over one million miles on them. Stay else where, I wouldn’t have stayed if I wasn’t so tired. Red roof in is about the same, this shouldn’t be an IHG resort for sure.

We loved staying at this resort, the children's pool, the main pool, the jacuzzi and the games in the pool area were the best things my children loved! At the time of check-in we were attended by a Brazilian who answered all our questions with great friendliness and patience. We will definitely come back this year to enjoy the end of summer
