National Museum Cardiff

Cardiff Castle

In the castle grounds you will find a motte and relics of a Norman keep built in 1091. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of Cardiff by climbing to the top of the tower. The Victorian manor house is the main building of the castle. There are activities throughout the year, such as Easter Trails, Ghost Tours and Victorian Weekends. Architect William Burges actually transformed some of these rooms into apartments. There is also a library where you can look at the old books.

Principality Stadium (formerly Millennium Stadium)

The Millennium Stadium, currently known for sponsorship purposes as the Principality Stadium, is the national stadium of Wales. It is the home of Welsh Rugby and hosts the national rugby union team and also stages games of the Wales national football team. The stadium was initially built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup, it now hosts many other large-scale events, the Super Special Stage of Wales Rally Great Britain, the Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain and various music concerts.

This is an exhilarating, on-demand adventure facility. A centre of excellence for training. With up to six people in a raft, white water rafting is one of the most sociable activities available. Suitable for complete beginners and seasoned white water enthusiasts. There is also an indoor wave, which is a simulated surf machine which provides the thrill of bodyboarding all year around. Other activities include Air Trail, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hot dogging and more.

St Fagans National History Museum
