The Dresden Zwinger ranks among Germany’s most well-known Baroque buildings of Germany and is, apart from the Church of Our Lady, certainly the most famous building monument in Dresden. It accommodates internationally renowned museums and is a place for theatre performances and music events. The baroque treasury of Dresden is also called "The Green Vault". Here you will find crockery, festive wardrobe and travel utensils at the time of the Elector of Things August the Strong. The museum is located in the city center opposite the Semper Opera House and can be reached on foot from the hotel in about 12 minutes.

The opera house "Semperoper" is located in the heart of Dresden on the Theaterplatz and directly on the river "Elbe". Named after its designer Friedrich Semper, it still shines in its original charm. Various classical operas as well as modern interpretations are performed.

The Staatsoperette Dresden is the only independent operetta theater in Germany and is located on the grounds of the Kraftwerk Mitte. Additional to operettas also different operas and musicals take place in the 700 persons capturing auditorium. www.staatsoperette.de
