I travel extensively for work and have stayed here over 60 nights. The staff is great and always helpful. My room has always been perfect and if I needed anything all I had to do was pick up the phone or swing by the desk.

Falls Below Expectations

This location has some good things going for it, but it’s overshadowed by some of the negatives.

Service is a bit lacking. I can’t in and out of this hotel about 8 times during my stay, never once was there someone at the desk. Even checking in, I had to wait awhile for them to come check me in and they made it seem like an inconvenience.

While the rooms are renovated, they are not very cleanly. And worse, it’s incredibly noisy. I heard non stop hammering during my stay.

Small gripes, but the WiFi is pretty terrible. I was getting about 5-10 mbps. And the air conditioning did not work very well. So the room was still pretty warm at night.

Finally, since there is no food offered, please keep the pantry stocked. There was hardly anything in there.

It’s a good location and decent pricing. If they could make some improvements, it would be a great location.

This was a very poor hotel. Cleanliness was fair to poor throughout the hotel. The handle to our door inside the room was broken and would come off completely. My son was afraid we would get stuck inside the room. There was a musty smell throughout the hotel. The bed was awful, there was something under the fitted sheet that would move throughout the night every time we moved. There was a tiny black curly hair on our air conditioner. I will not book another Candlewood after this stay.

Poor ventalation

A/C was very loud and noisy, there was also noise that appeared to be coming from operation of elevator.
Alot of construction in the area.
