Decent price but not a great property

It’s an older property, or at least looks like it. The rooms aren’t well maintained, with stains on the floors, etc. The kitchenette was filthy, had to scrub grease residue off all appliances, pans, dishes, etc., and dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher. It was loud also, both mechanical noises and being able to hear other guests.

The property was within walking distance to excellent restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean.

Dated but adequate. Located away from other hotels, needs refresh. Was clean enough and kitchen worked out.

This is a convenient location in the Illinois area to Scott AFB, O'Fallon, Fairview Heights, Belleville, Lebanon and St Louis. Close to grocery stores, Sam's Club and several restaurants.

I love this place. Its very comfortable, clean and has great additional amenities. Very spacious and provides me with everything I could possibly want while I stay for the weekend!

Very good and friendly customer service. Room was clean and well stocked. Only thing I would have liked would be a small one cup coffee pot.

I have been staying at this facility for 9 months or more. Staff is awesome and friendly. Rooms clean. It's located close to everything I need. I love the suites since I am a long term guest. Being able to cook in my room is a plus.

The chair was broken but usable. We did not complain about the chair. The chair was removed during the day while we were out visiting the Arch. No Note or communication regarding the chair. Went to the front desk and they knew the chair was removed but would not get us a replacement of any kind. Just said they could not do anything about it.
Also, the phone in the room did not work. The TV remote would not power on or off the TV. Had to go get a TV-specific remote. Will not stay here again.

Being a IHG member I was disappointed with my stay at the O'Fallon Illionois location. The room was not very clean and only had 1 towel for my wife and myself. I've stayed at other Candlewoods without a problem. Hopefully they attend to the housekeeping slip uo and improve.
Kind Staff and Great Amenities

We always come back to the Candlewood because of their wonderful staff and the amenities which are great for a long term stay. It really helps to have a full size fridge, stove top, and kitchen necessities. And when we had a problem in our room, staff addressed it immediately and upgraded us to a better suite with no extra charge. We will definitely be back!

kitchen floor only in front of sink. they looked at me like i was crazy for complaining the next morning and i spent over 30 minutes on phone today trying to get my points back..
