Liked the hotel a lot . Smaller rooms but adequate for two people and had large tv which was nice. Fantastic staff at this location and good breakfast and 24/ coffee station. The room was very clean but shower seemed older and in need of updating. Price a bit high but all hotels were in that area we stayed.

This was my first stay in an Avid hotel. The experience was so good that I will seek them out in my future travels. The rooms and facilities, staff and breakfast were excellent. Great location.

Very clean rooms and great service. Comfortable beds. Located close to highway for ease of access.

Perfect place to stay in Sioux City

We stayed at this property in late August for two nights. The location is convenient to downtown. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars easily and safely. There's also a convenience store next to the hotel. Easy to get to the hotel from the interstate. The lobby was large enough to work remotely. We used the gym both days, and it had everything we needed. Our room was two queen beds, which gave us plenty of room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We noticed many lodgers were repeat customers because of how well they knew the staff. That says a lot about the property, too, that travel workers like to stay here.

The hotel is very clean and new. Staff is wonderful.
Unfortunately, our room was on the top floor and HVAC unit pulsed on and off all night long. We were able to sleep, but it was an irritating noise.
A gem in an otherwise overlooked area

The building is exactly the same as any Avid, but with remarkable differences. This place is safe, clean, comfortable and meticulously maintained. But as important as all of this is...and it is...the staff make this location worth choosing. The staff treat their guests like expected guests and not customers. To try to clarify, think of how you would treat a customer who just happened to enter your business compared with how you would treat an expected guest arriving in your home.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was a grab and go so I liked that as well. The road nice on the north side of the hotel is very loud but was better once it got later. Walls seem thin but there was a baseball team in the rooms next to me so maybe just being louder than normal. Would stay again.

We usually stay in Holiday Inn Express. We are IHG members. Avid was much different. The room was small & very stark. It was clean & we were told the building had just been built. We were able to get WiFi for a zoom meeting. Breakfast was the most disappointing. Omelettes & Jimmy Dean sandwiches wrapped in paper & microwaved. Definitely not what we’re used to. There weren’t even paper plates for my bagel.

We can't say enough good things about this hotel. The location, staff and accommodations made this a very comfortable stay.

You when you when you get a hotel room and your initial feeling is this is worse than you expect. Think well worn hotel with bandaid fixes. A LOT OF mold. Got a new room, less
mold. My thought was “Who hurt you, avid hotel Sioux City?”
Friendly staff, cleanliness is lacking.

The staff is very friendly but the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom was filthy and it was clear it hadn’t received a good deep clean in a very long time.
