Problem with room

I stay at the hotel all the time and it is usually excellent. This last stay was disappointing. The sink was leaking and couldn’t get fixed for two days. Hot water in the shower was hit or miss. I know it’s not anyone’s fault but just not what u expect from this hotel

I’m a retired Air Force member whose mother lives in Brooklyn. I stayed one week. Hotel on Ft Hamilton is awesome! Price is definitely right compared to the off-post hotels…staff is very friendly and helpful…food and coffee for breakfast was great! My only negative experience is that the standard bed was too small for my wife and I, so my sleeping experience suffered

The HIE at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY is one the best hotels I've stayed it. The best Staff ever, and the customer service is one of the best I have ever seeing. The breakfast is pretty good too, and it's served with love by the staff

Comfortable Stay Despite Initial Room Mix-Up

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn property on Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, NY, for a wedding. Upon check-in, we were mistakenly given the wrong room, which we only discovered after beginning to get ready for the wedding with just 45 minutes to spare. Soon after, we received calls from the front desk informing us that due to an attendant’s error, we’d need to vacate and move to the correct room.
Though this was an inconvenience, the staff handled the situation politely, and the manager was kind enough to compensate us for the mix-up. This thoughtful gesture really helped make up for the disruption.
The rooms were adequate, showing a bit of the property’s age, but they were still comfortable enough for our short stay. Overall, despite the initial hiccup, we appreciated the team’s effort to make things right, and the location was convenient for our needs.

Front desk was courteous, professional & very informative. The young lady at the front desk, Eureka, made us feel very welcomed from the start. She is definitely what a lot of businesses are lacking when it comes to great customer service, support and quality. We will definitely make this our place to stay in the future whenever we visit NYC.

Was a great place to stay. The receptionist Eureka, upon check in was amazing. She gave my son and I food recommendations, which turned out to be amazing. The hotel was quiet and better priced than if you stayed off based. The room was clean, and breakfast was exactly what you would expect…eggs, bacon, yogurt and coffee. Thank you for the stay. If I’m ever in NYC again, I WILL BE STAYING HERE.
