Child friendly-felt like I was at Disney. Good place if you have children. Lots of activities for children.

Location is perfect! The pool was amazing, and even though we had access the Hilton pool as well, we never left Holiday Inn. I would suggest getting the souvenir cups for $20 per person. You can get refills the entire stay and there is a tiki hut by the pool that is so convenient. We did not eat at the restaurants at all so I cannot comment on those. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was amazing from the desk to house keeping.

Holiday Inn Resort is a great stay, the rooms are very comfortable and up to date. The Hotel has a functional lobby, its great for sitting and lounging and or working from a laptop. The breakfast is very good, I opted for ordering from menu vs eating the buffett, it minimizes my intake haha. Both are very good. The pool is nice and has a little like lazy river, its just steps away from the beach which has easy access through a gate in the pool area. I have stayed here for the last two years on business travel. It's close to lots of great restaurants and only 20 minutes from Destin Airport. The internet was a little patchy my entire stay so that's why I gave them 4 reviews.

I stay in IHG hotels every week and I have to say this is one of the Best I have stayed at. I travel for business 99% of the time and I really try to stay away from tourist destination hotels due to these hotels are not usually business traveler focused. The week I stayed here I was on vacation with my family and I have to say my experience was top notch. All the hotel staff, front desk, restaurant, cleaning, etc. were the most helpful and friendly staff! The hotel was very clean and the food at the onsite restaurant was very good. This hotel needs to a model for other IHG Hotels. Our vacation was great and this hotel was a big part of it. Keep up the excellent work!

great location and very family oriented hotel. Convenient eatery and love the chairs and umbrellas that are already set up. Clean room and soft beds. There are activities that are scheduled for the kids.

We stayed in a family room with bunkbeds and it was PERFECT for our family of four. Kids had their own beds and a little privacy—they loved the bean bags. Fantastic view, nice sized fridge, we loved the lazy river and one minute walk out to the beach. Kids loved seeing the giant beach ball on top of the hotel. Everything was exceptional. This was our second time here and I know we will be back. We love Fort Walton Beach and the Holiday Inn has been our favorite place to stay with our family

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Fort Walton Beach. The beachfront location was fantastic, and having direct access to the beach made our visit very convenient. The staff, especially at the front desk, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area with the lazy river was a big hit with our kids. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. One thing that could be improved is the shower temperature control — the water got extremely hot even with minimal adjustment, and the water pressure was quite low. Also, the breakfast options seemed a bit pricey for what was offered, so we ended up dining elsewhere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would consider staying again.

Balcony was TINY, and the hvac system was so loud it was impossible to enjoy. Beach view was actually view of a concrete ledge over the indoor pool. Way to pricey for what we got. That aside, I was there for more work than pleasure, but still disappointing. Those there with families and children looked to be having a great time with all of the activities. But I won't be staying there again.
