Came here for my birthday weekend! The view was amazing, the pool was great, kids had a blast! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the movie by the pool! Will definitely be back!

I think the Holiday Inn on Fort Walton Beach is the best deal you can get for the location and price. There are so many amenities, the hotel is super clean, and it is right in the beach. My stay was very enjoyable!

We drove to Florida from Texas and stayed from 8/7-8/11. Everything was incredible beginning with the reservations, online check-in, we arrived a bit early but it was no problem. It didn't take me 2-3 minutes to get room key and get checked in completely, our stay was wonderful, we had a beautiful view, and the bar was amazing! Everyone was super friendly and I have to give a special shout out to Mr. Joe at the bar inside. He kept me laughing and was very good at his job. Being directly on the beach was great as well. I would definitely recommend this location and we will definitely be back!

Upon arrival at the resort I was not upgraded!! Was told we would be upgraded the next day and it never happened!! Very disappointed with our stay at the resort as I am a Diamond elite member of IHG!! The lady at the front desk when we checked was very rude and that’s the nicest way of describing her!! I am very disappointed we have been traveling to Fort Walton on vacation for the past 10 years and staying at this resort it was by far the worst experience I have ever had there. Would like to receive some points for not being upgraded and the staff being rude only one lady was rude but she was the first employee I made contact with and set the mode for the remainder of my family’s vacation!! Once again very disappointed!!!

Child friendly-felt like I was at Disney. Good place if you have children. Lots of activities for children.

Location is perfect! The pool was amazing, and even though we had access the Hilton pool as well, we never left Holiday Inn. I would suggest getting the souvenir cups for $20 per person. You can get refills the entire stay and there is a tiki hut by the pool that is so convenient. We did not eat at the restaurants at all so I cannot comment on those. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was amazing from the desk to house keeping.

Holiday Inn Resort is a great stay, the rooms are very comfortable and up to date. The Hotel has a functional lobby, its great for sitting and lounging and or working from a laptop. The breakfast is very good, I opted for ordering from menu vs eating the buffett, it minimizes my intake haha. Both are very good. The pool is nice and has a little like lazy river, its just steps away from the beach which has easy access through a gate in the pool area. I have stayed here for the last two years on business travel. It's close to lots of great restaurants and only 20 minutes from Destin Airport. The internet was a little patchy my entire stay so that's why I gave them 4 reviews.

I stay in IHG hotels every week and I have to say this is one of the Best I have stayed at. I travel for business 99% of the time and I really try to stay away from tourist destination hotels due to these hotels are not usually business traveler focused. The week I stayed here I was on vacation with my family and I have to say my experience was top notch. All the hotel staff, front desk, restaurant, cleaning, etc. were the most helpful and friendly staff! The hotel was very clean and the food at the onsite restaurant was very good. This hotel needs to a model for other IHG Hotels. Our vacation was great and this hotel was a big part of it. Keep up the excellent work!
