I had a fantastic two-day stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Phuket last week. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The bellboy and reception team were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative—they made check-in smooth and offered helpful tips about the resort and local area.
The resort itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. I truly appreciated the hospitality and professionalism of the staff, which made my short stay memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!

I had an amazing time in Karon Beach.
I was recognised as a member and had even been upgraded to the most beautiful room with a private pool - This was greatly appreciated!
Staff were incredibly friendly and were happy to help. We had breakfast a few times during our stay and was very happy with the choices, the menu seemed to differ slightly day by day too.
Also, the food at the restaurant was lovely! The Massaman Curry is definitely recommended - it was delicious.
The surrounding area is quiet and relaxed - with only a 10-15minute walk to the beach which was gorgeous!
I hope to visit Karon Beach again & if I do, I will definitely be staying with your hotel.

We have the absolutely best time at the Holiday Inn Resort at Karon Beach, Phuket, Thailand. The hospitality started upon arrival: taking care of our luggage, refreshing cold towels, and welcoming topical drinks. Being an IHG member, we were upgraded to a one-bedroom villa; plenty of space for just two of us. The entire staff was FANTASTIC; we felt like VIPs throughout our 8-night stay. Thank you very much for the invitations from Abigail and Ning to the evening GM’s Parties for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and game with prizes!
The best parts of the Resort are the three swimming pools, fully equipped gym, and scheduled activities: surfing lesson in the lagoon pool, exercise classes, and other fun activities. Special thanks to the Recreation Manager (Ning) and his staff (Tom, Man, Nut, Kan, and Mint). The highlight has to be the Thai Boxing class with Ning and Nut. It was so much fun and good exercise; I never had a LIVE punching bag before!
We are retired active seniors on “slow travel.” Karon Holiday Inn Resort is definitely the destination we will be excited to go back to. Within the Resort, we have everything we need to enjoy relaxing and fun times. We also aim to do a daily 2 to 4 miles walk. We found a 3-minute shortcut to the beach where all the typical beach activities (surfing, parasailing, jet ski, & etc) are. Walking to town was only 10 minutes.

Not far from the beach, although the parking lot was a bit hard to find. I got an upgrade to a villa room with complimentary breakfast. Big thanks to Khun Tikky for her kind and amazing service.

I stayed here the first time, got an excellent rate and points as an ihg member. They gave me a room with small pool outside, it was amazing, food was great, amazing breakfast, and a great spa experience. The hotel, pool, everything was just superb. They have a long term stay discount, will definitely look into it next time. The best part of the entire experience at HI Karon was the staff, so helpful, kind, caring and supportive. Thank you all staff, you made my trip wonderful.

It is a wonderful resort with plenty of greeneries everywhere instantly giving a calm feeling. As IHG Rewards member I was given a room upgrade which was fabulous and highly appreciated! Room and bed were very comfortable, huge Samsung smart TV was a nice bonus. Buffet breakfast was good with mostly western and a few Thai dishes. Hotel staff service was simply top notch!
The only slight downside is the location. The beach is across the main road, which can be a bit busy. That part of the beach is also the quieter side. There are deck chairs for hire but I think further down the beach nearer to the Karon town side is much better as there are vendors selling coconuts/beer/drinks. The nearest convenience store and restaurants are at least a 5 minute walk away, with Karon town about 15 mins walk away.
Not a deal breaker to me but good info to know.

Everyone was so lovely. Thank you to the front desk team for the excellent service. The room exceeded all expectations. It was my first time in Phuket and I was truly impressed. I will definitely come back to stay again.

We had an unforgettable 4-night stay at Holiday Inn Phuket Karon Beach Resort — truly the best Holiday Inn experience we’ve had anywhere in the world. A huge thank you to Noelle, Liharu, and Aviey for their exceptional leadership and hospitality. Their warm, personal touch made all the difference. Special appreciation to Dain, Alexander, and Kit, who went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. From the beautiful beachside location to the outstanding service and thoughtful details, every moment was a delight. We sincerely hope Karon Beach sets the gold standard for all Holiday Inns globally. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location, our room was spacious and clean. Three pools to choose from and the gym was clean and had all I needed for a workout. Buffet had lots to choose from and had a cute kids food station great idea. Bars had great menu choices. Grounds of hotel well attended to workers were seen sweeping and doing general maintenance/ cleaning well done team.
