Nice roadside hotel

No real issues. Nice greeting staff. Provided extra towels, were prompt. Room and hotel appeared and smelled clean. Plenty of flat surfaces to rest 4 bags for overnight stay.

i strongly recommend this hoteit very clean

The reception was helpful
The room is too big
The only negative is the pancake machine was not working
The staff were friendly and very helpful

Hotel is run down and needs updated. Our room smelled like must and cigarette smoke. Breakfast quality was terrible and lacked selection. We couldn’t even eat it. If you are looking for a nice relaxing, clean place keep looking.

The staff were so friendly. Everything was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Everything seemed to be well kept up on! Honestly the staff really made this location great! I would go back and stay again!

Nice clean hotel over all. Bed was comfy and nice to find both down and foam pillows on the bed.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. The eggs and cranberry juice were watered down. Never experienced that before in a hotel. I’ve stayed at several IHG, Hilton and Marriott.

All in all, I would stay here again.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was suppose to get 500 pt but I don't think I did. I asked the breakfast hostess if there was any yogurt and she laid into me, loudly complaining about all the duties she was having to do. I asked nicely and she bit my head off. I was shaking. I left as fast as I could with no breakfast.

I just wanted to say that I stay at the Holiday Inn when traveling for the comfort of knowing that after a long drive we an relay on a consistent lodging stay.

This hotel should be deflagged. Worst HI Express and we stay at IHG properties all the time on the road. Filthy, unkept, outdated property. Washcloths were dirty, towels heavy bleach smell, mold in shower.

We are Diamond members and our stay at the hotel in Roanoke Rapids has turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We booked for 6 weeks from 5-19 thru 6-27. We canceled last two weeks. I spoke with the GM and thought concerns were addressed. The 1st week not being able to get coffee nor daily housekeeping. 2nd week I addressed the issue of housekeeping not being performed and was informed that housekeeping is done every three days. H I advertises daily housekeeping. later in week cleaning bottles and a used toilet paper roll was left on bathroom counter. We were being charged for the stay (normal procedure) plus being charged each day. I addressed this with the GM showing that we had over $1500 pending charges on our cc. I was offered 10k points for inconvenience. I declined because I am not looking for reimbursement just to have services provided as advertised. The GM did offer us a discounted rate which was greatly appreciated. However, I would rather pay regular rate rather than give up services. 4th week (6-9thru 6-12) upon returning to the room our personal toiletries had been removed. We contacted the front desk/GM and were informed to bring a receipt for missing items to be reimbursed. Weds morning we discovered the contents of refrigerator were gone as well (total under $30). We informed front desk to report, the clerk contacted the GM. The GM indicated she would investigate. By noon we requested no housekeeping the GM informed us that she was the one who cleaned our room and never touched any belongings. Implying that no items were missing.
At that point we were extremely upset. I am unable to understand how the story went from reimbursement and investigation by the GM to that the GM had cleaned our room and did not touch anything. I received an email on 6-11, from GM asking if I would call. I did and left a VM. To date I have not received a return call.

This hotel is very clean. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Great Customer Service by staff very convenient location, just off the exit.... close to stores and restaurants
