The 10 Best IHG Hotels for Live Music & Nightlife

Based on Verified Guest Reviews

Some hotels sit near a music scene. A few become part of it — the live band in the lounge, the walk to the honky-tonks, the nightly entertainment that turns the lobby into the place to be. We ranked these ten from verified IHG reviews, weighting how often guests praised the music, the entertainment and the nightlife and how warmly. From Broadway in Nashville to a beach band on the Gulf, these are the hotels where the night didn't end at check-in.

The cities that never quite go quiet

For music, a few cities stand alone. Nashville is Music City for a reason — live sound spills out of every doorway on Broadway. New Orleans treats music as a birthright, while Memphis gave the world blues and soul and still trades on it nightly. Austin bills itself as the live music capital and largely earns it, and Chicago remains a blues and jazz heavyweight. London and New York offer the sheer density — every genre, every night, somewhere within reach.

IHG brands with a talent for the night

Holiday Inn turns up repeatedly here because so many of its resort and city properties build live entertainment right into the stay — house bands, lounge sets and beach-bar music that mean guests never have to leave to find a good night.

Hotel Indigo plants itself in the heart of the scene, nowhere more so than Nashville, where the brand's neighborhood-first approach puts guests steps from the best live music a city has to offer.

Kimpton brings a design-led, social sensibility to nightlife, siting properties beside the districts that matter — like Deep Ellum in Dallas — and backing them with the kind of bars and social hours that get the evening started in-house.
