Toilets don't work

We checked in and got a room with broken toilet. We called and they sent someone to fix it, which they claimed they did. However, it was still not working. We called again and they said they have no one to fix it, so we asked to change rooms. Same issue with the new room. We ended up having to use the public bathroom for the 1 night stay. Customer service was also not great - not friendly, don't care attitude. Don't recommend this place

Cleanliness Problems

I always book avid because I like these hotels. They're usually very clean and the room designs help maintain the ease of cleanliness. However this trip, the bathroom was grey sludge on the counter and the hair from the previous tenant was still on the shower walls. The breakfast was moldy (specifically a bagel and a muffin which were in the same display with all the other bread products). I found several room keys just laying on a window sill for anyone to grab and use. A house keeping crew member woke me up to incorrectly tell me I was supposed to be checked out at 8am (it was 10am and my checkout was 11am).

Toilet wasn’t working, our door lock stopped working, room phone wasn’t working, and Brown liquid oozing out of the soap or lotion bottle. Staff was very friendly but definitely this property needs a lot of attention

Staff didn't say hi and just continued to talk among them selfs when we arrived. I had to initiate every aspect of check in. No welcome, thank you or remote politeness.
Blood splatter on wall

Everything about the hotel seemed great for a short stay!! It was a good hotel. Although hotel floors and rooms seriously reminded me of a hospital and our room which we noticed in early a.m. that there was blood splatter on the wall!! Not a good look at all. I was to rushed to complain in am to get to airport but hotel staff should have a little more decency to say something to leadership and have leadership have it professionally cleaned!! All I though about was, I wonder if a junkie stayed in the room recently????

The Reviews associated with this property are so high, but the realities are so mediocre. I chose this property over many other hotels in the area based on the high Reviews. The realities are that it is at most a quirky Motel 6.
Awesome Hotel Close to Airport!

This was my second stay at an Avid Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! The room was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Even though it's close to the airport, it doesn’t have that typical "airport hotel" feel—it's much nicer than that! I’ll definitely stay here again.

It was a great stay at avid! It was peaceful and the check-in was easy! The room was nice, they have comfortable bed and the bathroom was in prestine condition. Overall it was a wonderful stay. It made me well rested before my graduation day!
