Could use improvement

This hotel needs a major overhaul in airing out its trapped odors. They need to change the comforters after each guest. I normally don’t write reviews because I try to see the good in every experience. I would like to see improvements though so the next guest doesn’t experience my same encounter.

Candlewood always feels like a home away from home for me. I wouldn’t change one thing about my stay and would recommend this hotel to some of my work crew guys since we travel often not every day you fine places like this THANK YOU CANDLEWOOD
Staff very friendly

There were needed items missing from the room. Once staff was notified, items were furnished immediately.
Every time I entered or left the hotel, I was greeted with a smile. I feel very safe there because they are aware of who comes and goes.
The room was very clean.

Unfortunately, the ads are not like the real thing. The room is big and spacious, however it is dirty and smells like cigarette smoke.
I opened the windows to air it out and sprayed Lysol but still smells.
The bathroom has about a half inch of dust everywhere.
This could be a good place to stay but needs cleaning and updating.
Not bad for an overnight stay

Stayed at this location several times, no issues, staff is always welcoming rooms are clean and fresh.Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Very pleasant stay at this location. Have stayed multiple time never had any issues. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.will visit again and recommend to friends and families.

1 bed room suite pretty spacious, clean and smell fresh. have stayed here multiple times. No issues. staff is always kind and helpful. only thing i did not find luggage cart at the front desk but Dee at the front desk got me one from one of the floors. will visit again.
Dirty and noisey

The entire facility was run down and dirty. Room comfort was fair, but not cleaned. Dishwasher still had dirty dishes in it from whoever previously had the room. Never saw anyone at the front desk. There was a note to put room keys in a basket and receipt would be emailed to me....two days later and I am yet to get a receipt. The service and facility were not up to the IHG standards we have come to expect. We will never stay at the hotel again.

This particular location was the worse hotel I have ever in my life stayed at! The room was dirty, the room had no telephone service, the internet did not work and the overall room needed updating. In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken and the shower head was rusted with brown stains. Additionally, throughout the room you could see damage and floor stains. I made the manager aware of this situation and the options she gave me were to move to another room or they could take $20 off of my bill. Personally, the manager should have given me a credit for one full day since I was there for a weekend. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to find another hotel because everything was booked up. For my future stays, this location will not be considered even if it is free!

Arrived hotel little early then checkin time, go checke in. Front desk staff was very polite and helpfull. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Clean environment. Was a quality night. Will come again.
