Outdated Hotel

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The property is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The room was humid, with no central air conditioning, and the refrigerator was rusted. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the comforter was ripped, and the furniture was warped from water damage. The curtains were stained, which made the room feel unclean.
The Internet didn’t work at all. I called maintenance, but no one ever came. When I called the front desk, they gave me an 800 number to troubleshoot the issue myself instead of fixing it for me. On top of that, the sliding glass door was extremely difficult to open and close.
Overall, this hotel is in desperate need of upgrades and better customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

I made the reservation online - I was given the total charges and total points I used for the stay. When I got to the hotel, I didn't know I would incur an amentities charge. I advised the front desk person I will not use any amenities, just need the room. Imagine my surprise when I received an email from my credit card that they charged me those amenities fees. When I spoke to the front desk in person, I was told to read the "fine print'. Buyers beware when staying at this hotel. I've been a H.I. member since 1988. Never experienced this before. Manager never contacted me. I also had to have items fixed in the room.

I have stayed here 6-7 times now and never had a bad visit. The rooms, pool, and hot tub is always clean. The view on both sides of the room is amazing!
You never need to leave the resort because they have a restaurant and bar onsite. You could go to the pool or walk down to the beach. My favorite place to stay in Daytona beach

This hotel is our go to to get away for a few beach days. Living about 10 miles away, we like to do the beach thing a couple times a year. This is the place for us. Yes, it's a little older than some but well kept and staff friendly. All inclusive for us and family. Pool, hot tub, beach access and poolside bar/restaurant is what we look for.

We love vacationing at Daytona after Labor Day in September. Everything quiets down, less beach traffic and no waits at the restaurants.
We stayed at this Holiday Inn Resort at least ten times and will again next year. The challenges in September are the weather—if you hit it right it can be the best— if you fly in beach chair rental can be unreliable. We love spending the days under the umbrella on the beach.
If you like it quiet confirm there are no conventions or other major beach activities that week.
Daytona beach is one of the best at low tide.

The stay at the Holiday Inn & Resort Oceanfront, Daytona Beach was awesome. Very clean, friendly staff, large pool and access to the beach. We were greeted with smiles and kindness. Lots of staff around to fill your needs. Any issues that occurred were addressed quickly and easily. Talked to a lot of guest and found they return to this hotel offen for the same reasons I liked this hotel.

this was the worst building i have ever stayed at in your company. It is run down and needs major repair. example : hall ways were dirty and not managed. kids running up and down all hours of day. elevators look to need cleaning and room was also in need of repair. balcony rails just painted over rust areas. instead of cleaning and resurfacing. was suppose to have a room with a kitchen, well it was like a normal room with kitchenette. bathroom was so disgusting i could not shower in them. i have stayed all over in your company's hotels and this is not to IHG standards..

This resort is in a great Beach Getaway area in Daytona! The resort is setup nicely! The restaurant and bar were nice, especially with the outdoor seating overlooking the pool and ocean! But very short staffed at peak times!
