We stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Goa as a large family group (19 rooms, 43 people) from Oct 2–5, 2025, and the experience was extremely disappointing.

Check-in was chaotic — several rooms were handed over only after 3:30 PM, well past the official time. Room quality was average, with big variations in villa sizes that were never disclosed. Food was mediocre despite the all-meals package.

The worst part was the check-out — staff forced an 11 AM check-out for the group (though official policy says 12 noon) and handled it rudely. The duty manager, Mr. Ranjan, was unprofessional and dismissive throughout.

Only the junior staff (buggy drivers, servers, housekeeping) were courteous. The location is beautiful, but that’s where the positives end.

Verdict: Poor management, inconsistent policies, and zero hospitality. Not recommended for families or group stays.

My sister’s engagement took place at Holiday Inn Goa, Cavelossim, and we are honestly so happy with how everything turned out! From the moment we arrived, we loved the vibe of the place — the Arabian Sea Lawn was just magical and made the whole event feel so special.

The hospitality was outstanding. Every single person at the resort made us feel so comfortable and cared for. A huge thanks to Gautham from the Sales team — he was incredibly helpful throughout and supported us in so many ways.

During the event, Touqeer, Praveen, and Arfan were always around, managing things smoothly and making sure everything went perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious, and Chef Radhey deserves special appreciation — everyone loved every single dish!

The Duty Managers helped us a lot with transport and language coordination, which really made things easy for our guests. Luke also did a fantastic job handling all the rooms and made sure everyone was comfortable.

Overall, it was a dream evening — everything went beautifully, and the resort looked stunning. Our entire family had such a great time, especially those visiting Goa for the first time — they were so happy and impressed with the hospitality and the warmth of the staff.

Thank you so much to the entire Holiday Inn Goa team for making our celebration so memorable. We’ll always cherish these moments, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place or better people to celebrate with. 💖

Location is 10/10. It’s gorgeous

Service - Sincere. Stayed with toddler, newborn's and elderly parents. Received ample attention & support throughout the visit. They took good care of us.

Facilities- Fantastic with spawning lawns well maintained and kids center activities + pool.

Food - Good. Variety of options. Premium taste.

The hotel is tons of activities for kids and their activity room is well equipped with staff to engage with the kids. They have direct access to the beach. The beach is clean and peaceful and feels like it is part of the hotel. The resort is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

We had a great stay at this resort to celebrate our anniversary and appreciated the hard working staff that made our stay so enjoyable. We were there during the last month of monsoon season but the rain was only occasional and didn’t spoil our stay and we had plenty of sunshine to soak up by the pool which was often very quiet until evening. However, the hotel doesn’t provide sun parasols by the pool during monsoon season and the lack of shade was a problem as I burn very easily. We had to sit under coconut trees for shade which was dangerous as the hotel hadn’t removed the coconuts and one narrowly missed us when it fell one day. It was also a little disappointing that no sun loungers were available on the beach due to it being monsoon season despite it being beautiful weather. Swimming in the sea was also not allowed for the same reason. The breakfast was good and the staff did an amazing job managing a very busy restaurant even when there were corporate event guests that needed to be reminded by staff how to behave in a hotel restaurant. We tried all three of the hotel restaurants which all served great food but also all generally had music playing way too loud to be able to have a conversation. The worst was the live saxophone in Zest which we found completely unsuitable for an enclosed restaurant but even in the Fig & Olive, the staff had the music turned right up, seemingly more for their own entertainment than considering the ambience of the restaurant. We only tried the Beach Grill once as we were had to ask for a table after standing inside for 10 minutes on arrival whilst staff ignored us. Restaurant staff that stood out were Deepti at breakfast and Larissa also in Zest restaurant - both should be commended for really strong customer service. We were very grateful for the flower decorations on the bed and cake on our anniversary and also for the cake that the Zest restaurant manager gave us to say Bon Voyage just before we left. We were also grateful for the recognition of my Diamond status with room upgrade, free breakfast and a late check out. We would have appreciated an easier mechanism to be able to tip staff like being able to add tips onto bills or a tip box - having to by try and get small denomination notes daily was a hassle this would have avoided. Overall, this is a very well run resort and we would love to return one day.

I recently stayed at this resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is scenic, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful views. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The food at the restaurant was delicious, though the variety could be slightly improved. The pool and recreational facilities were enjoyable, making it a relaxing getaway. A few minor improvements in service speed and Wi-Fi connectivity would enhance the experience further. Overall, a great stay and definitely worth recommending for a relaxing vacation.

The place is very kids friendly, my daughter loved her stay...
