Between the flat, noisy mattresses, Showers not draining and working, Mice scurrying through, lack of cleanliness.....There is almost no chance that I would ever return to this facility. The bad part is that I will now second guess the next reservation.

Walked into the room and it was hot, 83 degrees and the heat was still blowing, tried adjusting the thermostat, set to a/c and temperature to 66 degrees, still blowing heat, called the desk, no answer, went down and explained the situation, was told no other rooms available and someone would contact us soon, no one ever contacted us, I removed the thermostat and the heat stopped, we opened windows to cool the place down and plugged in the thermostat when needed, Bed was soft on one side and felt like a board under the mattress on the other side, went to the pool, no towels, dirty towel basket overflowing onto the floor and climbing the wall, windows filthy and carpeting has humps in the hallways that seem to reach up and grab your feet,

The hotel and breakfast were fine. The kids enjoyed the inside pool. The only thing was wrong was the shower was messed up but it was fixed.

Old Hotel, but Great Service and Value

It is definitely an old hotel that could use an overhaul. The room smelled musty and amenities are not up to date. But, the location was great, Service was awesome, Great space and value. All concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Good size for a family, free breakfast, indoor pool, but not a nice hotel by any means.

Stay for a wedding

Stayed 2 nights. Furniture was falling apart in the room. I have had a better breakfast in any holiday inn express I have stayed at. The room space was good but I should have saved the money and stayed at a holiday inn express instead.

They need to exercise more focus on maintenance. The jacuzzi was broken (a common occurrence anymore), and so was the ice maker in the room, and the filter holder on the coffee pot. It’s a beautiful hotel, and close to a lot, but they need to pay attention to the small details. The jacuzzi was the primary reason I selected the hotel. They should post when it’s out of order so potential customers know.

The hotel had a musty odor from the main lobby that worsened as we made our way to the 3rd floor. Upon entering our room the odor just smacks you in the face. As I looked for a thermostat control thinking maybe the odor and musty smell was from the air not being on, my husband looked around the room. There was a closet door unlocked, behind it was the HVAC unit and a room full of black mold. We high tailed it back out of there and canceled our stay. We were not in the room more than 5 minutes, but on first impression the room is very dated, very musty and the over all hotel feeling is the same. Thankfully the front desk clerk issued a full refund without any trouble. Save yourself the trouble and just book the Chattanoogan around the corner that features on site restaurant and Starbucks, the few dollars you save with the Staybridge is not worth it!

What a terrible surprise when you get home and are charged $49 after making reservations with free points. When I called the hotel the agent told me management had that decision to charge when make reso with points. So when does this scam get investigated? Who is charge if this scam and when will this scam end? This is 100% wrong and unprofessional and you this "extra" blockage that management is k charge of is misleading and completely sneaky and a scam! Who can fix this ? I will never stay at a staybridge again and will start taking my business elsewhere with this type of behavior.
Who else has been scammed by this property and IHG?

Rundown hotel in disrepair/ need of renovation

Normally stay in Kimpton hotels around Atlanta and hoped for similar quality based on the price. What I found was akin to what I would expect from a Motel 6. Initial room (204) stunk badly and immediately asked to change rooms. Bathroom in 210 characterized by curtain falling apart, sink had a crack through the middle and appeared to be human hair on the vent in bathroom. Very hard mattress and must say sleepless night as uncomfortable and girlfriend wanted to sleep in her clothes. All I was missing was roaches or bed bugs because I felt that they were on me all night and slept with light on. At breakfast most every drink selection was unavailable and bacon was not fully cooked so I skipped that as well. Should have skipped this experience or alternatively camped out or driven home. Wanted to complain to staff but I really felt sorry for the ones that actually spoke english.

The staff was great and the only redeeming point to this dump of a hotel. There was more wrong than right at this hotel. Would NEVER stay here again amd based on my experience I may never stay at an IHG Staybridge hotel again.

1. Dishwasher didn't work, taped off
2. Unable to wash dishes because there was no dish rag left in room either.
3. Microwave didn't work
4. Unable to use stove top because Microwave didn't work and the exhaust fan is in the microwave.
5. Handicap doors button didn't work
6. The entire room smelled like mildew and the smell got worse when the AC was turned on.
7. Room in disrepair, cobwebs on ceiling, stains and dirt all over walls and door.
8. Convience bottles of shampoo, conditioner fell off wall and was laying in bath tub
9. Blinds on door in room broken

Business man, 20 days a month worst hotel

This hotel you can tell is very old. The couch in our room had dust around the corners of the sea cushions. The chair and the couch were ripped and torn. The floor in the bathroom and the kitchen had dirt in all the corners. This entire hotel needs renovated.

Hotel was disgusting they let homeless people walk around and eat the breakfast. Rooms were mildewed and uncomfortable. Downstairs bathroom was not clean. They didn’t clean the elevators because they were filled with mud. Just not a good place
