My stay at the hotel was excellent since the overall appearance was impressive and the staff was efficient in service delivery. However, the restaurant has to improve in terms of variety of the food provided. In addition, something needs to be done in terms of flies repellent more especially in summer because there were a lot of flies at the restaurant during the day.

Thank you for hosting me at your wonderful property. It was quite an experience for me; however, the welcome was a bit blunt. I felt much could be done to improve service for such a flagship hotel "MY ARRIVAL". I waited at the desk for almost 5 minutes without being served. There was a group check-in and the guys at the reception were struggling until I had to ask if there was someone going to serve me. Ultimately I received the service. There was a trainee at the desk and half the time he was being assisted by the other guy; my suggestion is trainees should be fully capacitated for them to complement your workforce.
You have a beautiful hotel and you have impressively taken hotel standards to another level. It would be every hotelier's dream to work at a place like Intercontinental Lusaka. Key note is to focus on the pressure point.

it can be much more better.
the rooms need to be deep cleaned to remove smoke smell from previous heavy smokers who stayed in the hotel.
all electrical items needs to be checked before putting a guest into the rooms.
the staff needs retraining and better pay hence they would give the flagship name a better representation.

During my stay I experienced an atmosphere of welcome, efficient check-in and check-out procedures; room of very high quality and superior level of comfort and maintenance. Staff were very polite and courteous.
