If you need to get some fresh air or unwind after a long day, this is the place. It's close to the hotel and is popular with local parents who take their children to feed the ducks.

About a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel, the park is a relaxing place to stroll around. If you are feeling more energetic, there are 3-4 tennis courts here. This park is just minutes from the Cleveland Botanical Garden, Natural History Museum, Severance Hall, and the Rockefeller Greenhouse.

University Circle occupies the eastern part of the city and is the educational, cultural and medical center. Close by is Little Italy, a very attractive area with many private art galleries and a host of restaurants.

Tip: Will keep the kids entertained for hours. With over 400 interactive exhibits, video shows and countless items the Science Center is a fascinating place to visit.

Opened to the public in 1912, the West Side Market is the city’s oldest market. A local treasure, the market is home to more than 100 vendors offering fresh vegetables and fruits, gourmet cheeses, fine meats, home baked goods, and specialty items.

Situated amid the University Circle cultural district, the beautiful Cleveland Botanical Garden stands out as a local favorite. Enjoy this ever-evolving ten acres of verdant gardens, nostalgic glass houses, seasonal events, and educational programs.

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium features more than 5,000 fresh and saltwater creatures. Follow the “sea tube” and walk underneath sharks, stingrays, and eels. The aquarium also offers adults-only, after-hours wine tastings and tours.

Join a well-versed guide on a culinary tour through Tremont, Little Italy, and Ohio City. Sample tantalizing dishes from fresh pasta to gourmet sandwiches, while learning about the city’s industrial roots.

Untrammeled nature flourishes just outside the city. Head to nearby Cuyahoga Valley, where scenic trails — like the one that leads to Brandywine Falls — showcase acres of wetlands, wildlife, and foliage.
