Built for the 1900 Exposition Universelle, this architectural masterpiece is recognizable by its large glass dome flanked by the French flag. Frequently described as ‘the world’s most beautiful avenue’, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a Paris must-see. Overlooking the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe is the biggest arch in the world. It was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to celebrate his victory at Austerlitz. From the top of the monument, visitors benefit from a panoramic view of Paris, during the day and at night, and two viewpoint indicators.

Created in 1889, it stayed, and with its 325-metre height, it has stood as the highest monument in the world for more than 40 years. District full of authentic charm, Montmartre is famous for the Sacré-Coeur basilica and a magnificent view of Paris. You can take the funicular to the top of Montmartre hill, or you can climb the 222 steps leading up through the Louise Michel public garden. Through its interactive journey and its innovative scenography, the museum uses the latest technologies to trace the history of perfumes from Egypt from the pharaohs to the present day.

Hidden behind the understated facade lies this jewel of a private mansion, dating from the 18th century, and housing the permanent collections of the Musée Rodin. As well as the sculptor’s masterpieces, several works by his mistress and troubled muse Camille Claudel are also on display. The Bethune-Sully Hotel is one of the most beautiful Louis XIII-style Parisian mansions in the heart of the Marais. His library is accessible to all and the beautiful garden, originally reconstituted, gives direct access to the famous Place des Vosges.

The construction of the Parc dates back to the 17th century. Today it is one of the most elegant gardens in Paris, and a reflection of the district. Visitors can enter through the great wrought iron gates embellished with gold. Walking around the park, you’ll find many beautiful surprises: numerous statues, a Renaissance archway belonging to the former Paris City Hall, a wide variety of birds and a large pond.
