Daming Palace is the most magnificent palace complex in the Tang Empire, and also the largest palace complex in the world at that time. It is the national symbol of the Tang Dynasty. It was first built in the eighth year of Emperor Taizong's Reign and destroyed at the end of the Tang Dynasty, covering an area of 3.2 square kilometers.
