Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by room smelled strong room was clean, however it smelled as if someone had dumped a bottle of carpet fresh in the room and it was very strong. Also there was an issue flushing the toilet. July 14, 2014

Carrabba's Italian Grill across the street but I wanted Cajun food so I walked about a half-mile to a nice cajun restaurant with live music. I forget the name but ask the front desk and they will tell you the name and point the way. July 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by hotel was average but the sleep quality was BAD The hotel seemed to be clean and up to date enough. The staff were courteous and helpful with check out. The room itself seemed a little cramped, but the major problem was the design of the AC unit. The unit is controlled with a motion sensor. This resulted in a hot room when you entered.....and then a delay in taht hot room of about 10 min before it kicked on. It also resulted in the unit being shut off after we fell aslepp (and stopped moving i presume). We woke at 3am in a HOT room and after i got out of bed and moved around the unit kicked back on. Bad deisgn. I would rather not sleep in a room with this type system again. June 30, 2014

The people here just look at you like as to say, "What, you want ME to do something about that?" when you have a problem. It was all the employees too, not sure why. I had problems getting connected to the internet and had they said their internet was having problems and I said well I kind of have to have that for this business trip that is 2 weeks long. So, the dude finally gave me a # to call to talk with their ISP. Well, after 45 minutes I finally had Wifi something that normally takes 5 seconds. This was the same problem for everyone with a Windows computer. Then, the range of the Wifi was horrible, barely any signal in my room, it would cut out all the time, and it was extremely sloooooowww. Also, I smelled smoke coming into my room from the hall a few days in a row because someone was smoking like a chimney in their room. I told the front desk and they said, "Oh, that's a $300 fine" but, only smelled around people's doors and when they found the room that they thought was the one they didn't even knock. The problem was never solved. I could go on and on about more but, I think this says enough to for people to know to STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! June 2, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Customer service is dead The hotel itself was nice enough, fairly new and clean, but the staff could not have cared less about the guests. I arrived for check-in at about 2:30 and was told curtly there were no clean rooms available, but that there would be by 3 p.m. I sat in the lobby near an obviously annoyed man who'd requested an early check-in before he arrived only to find himself waiting like me. I was given a key at about 3:15 to a room with two queen beds (I'd reserved a king) and when I got upstairs I found a carpet that had obviously not been vacuumed. I went downstairs and told the desk the room was wrong and the floor was dirty. I was given a cursory "sorry" and the desk manager chastised the maid for saying the room was clean then acknowledging it hadn't been vacuumed. When I finally got into my room at about 3:45, I turned on the a/c and piled up on the bed for a nap. I was awakened at about 4:15 by a maid opening the door and asking, "Is anybody in here?" I bolted upright and told her there was. "Sorry," she said and closed the door. Dozed off again only to have another maid walk into the room 20 minutes later asking if it was occupied. I would've thought they'd have some record of which rooms were occupied. The night was okay (I bolted the door). Checked out the next morning without any greeting or notice by the front desk. I've accepted that customer service isn't what it used to be anywhere, but these workers could not have been less concerned with making guests comfortable. May 10, 2014
