Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Even in Rockville Different!!! Very modern fitness oriented hotel. Hotel was above average. Only complaint is not having free coffee. December 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Stay, Better than expected We were so happy to be able to stay at the Even hotel, we have talked about it, when we saw the hotel announcements in the past, and looked forward to a time, where we would be in one of the Even hotel areas. We enjoyed everything about the stay, the fitness centre, the room with built in fitness equipment, the fitness channels on the tv, as well as the smell of the entire hotel. It was so fresh and clean. Thanks for everything, when we travel ago to an area with the Even brand, we will be happy to be your guests. December 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Interesting concept A new, very well refurbished hotel. It was strange at first to see work out equipment in-room. Very nice staff. Having filtered water on each floor was nice. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 A Great Concept and Stay . . . If you are traveling for business and want a quiet, comfortable space with some basic fitness equipment in the room and support (including laundry for workout clothes) to help keep you active - check out EVEN. I really enjoyed it. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New incarnation of Rockville hotel a winner Very good job was done in renovating the hotel to an Even Hotel. Common area and rooms were appealing and bed very comfortable, though a little taller than I prefer. The hotel looks much better than it ever has, I've stayed there off and on for 20 years (especially in the past when I didn't find a better option available). Rates were cost effective. Breakfast options were healthy sounding and delicious, I had an egg quinoa wrap with fresh squeezed orange juice. December 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by even hotel rockville Love this hotel. Only issue, and it's not a deal breaker is that the parking garage is not super convenient. December 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, good for younger people without kids We stayed here for a soccer tournament weekend. The hotel is clean. Staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Did not like the sliding glass door to the bathroom. You can see around the sides if you try and my 11 year old did not appreciate that. A few chairs, other than the desk chair, would have been nice. Also, would have preferred queen beds over double beds. For families, double beds are rough unless you have really little kids. I would not have picked this hotel because of the double beds. We got "stuck" here, but all in all we were happy with the hotel even though it wasn't ideal for us. I could see how if I were traveling on business, this would be a great place to stay. December 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Like a dorm/gym for 20-somethings I appreciate a new concept in hotels and Even has some real thinking behind it, but it left me cold. First, it is almost impossible to find the front door fo the hotel, or even find the hotel. Very poor signage. Once inside, I found the staff very nice, and very aware of the problems, but they seem to think no one is listening. The rooms are like giant dorm rooms with fitness equipment. I thought the hotel would be "spa-like," but it turned out to be more like a big gym. Stupid things like the color light machine that I could never figure out, while the regular lights all cast very cold white light, Ikea style furniture, a fancy, expensive glass shower door that would not stay closed. No luggage rack, no pay per view, no table and only an office chair. Slippery cork floors, terrible sound insulation. Tiny windows that leave the room dark. Not a comfortable or restful place, or attractive. What made it work was an extremely comfortable bed and a nice staff trying their best, and very reasonable rates. I think this is a great place if you love nothing more than working out, otherwise, forget it. December 4, 2014
