Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by food was very good. restaurant staff were very nice. Maids were very nice. overall a C. We were disappointed. I booked a room for 5. two weeks before we stayed. Still our 5th guest slept on the floor. Roll aways were not available. The front desk person apoligized and sent a pillow and blanket to the room. The next day we moved to a suite. Much better. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, but it's the little things that get you When we first arrived, we noticed that one of the beds was damp. It would appear that someone had soiled the bed and it soaked into the padding and it wasn't noticed. They switched us to a slightly (Couple of feet difference) larger room and that was nice. However the keys didn't work after the first night... it was fixed, but it was annoying to deal with after a long day at the Park. The website shows that a continential breakfast is part of the service, however it fails to mention that it is not free. There is a shuttle to the park, however it cost money as well... everything cost something there so it's a bit of a nickel and dime sort of thing. If you join their priority club, parking is free, which is nice. October 29, 2012

They even charge $5 per person shuttle service to Disneyland which is less than 1 mile away. Stayed at lower price hotels before with better amenities, view of fireworks and free shuttle. Pools were crowded and the rooms smells of mildew. October 27, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slack restaurant Good location if you want to go to Disneyland but restaurant / bar leaves a bit to be desired. They sat us down for breakfast then didn't come near us again. Had to get up and chase some one for coffee then we just ended up having the buffet off our own bat which we could have just ate and walked out as they didn't even know we were there. When we asked for the check they didn't know what we had to even make the check up for us. Also, they took our credit card for "incidentals" (as they do) but some 10 days later we are yet to see the money back (we had no "incidentals" as we paid cash for breakfast). October 26, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal We chose this hotel because of their location closest to Disneyland. The front desk staff were great and helpful. The on-site restaurant had great food and prices. The room was comfortable and clean. The only problem we encountered were the host and hostess of the restaurant. They appeared very disorganized and were very slow. Each day we ate at the restaurant and waited long times to be seated (even though tables were available) or to pay the bill. After a long day at Disney, we ordered from the restaurant and were told they would call us when ready. When they did call us, we waited at the restaurant for another 30 minutes to get our food. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Average If booking a suite, it is better to call and check. We stayed in three holiday inns during our recent tour of southern California and this was by far the worst. The queen suite was was two rooms but one toilet which was in the inside room. The room was not capable of sleeping the stated number. We had to book another room to accommodate our party. The front office staff was very kind in that regard. The service in the restaurant was terrible. We were overcharged for our first breakfast. Gratuity is added on to the bill by the waiters themselves, which I find as ridiculous. On the whole the restaurant was a big let down. The suites in other Holiday Inn which we stayed were far superior to this and the service was far better, October 24, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient for Price For the price of the room, the hotel is...ok. I booked 3 rooms; 2 were next to each other, and the 3rd half way down the hall. The reception desk and on-site lobby are in very close proximity, so it was very noisy when we checked in. I did not like that our room was in a completely different building from the lobby. Upon check-out, we had to walk/drive to the lobby instead of just coming downstairs to do so. There was no free coffee in the lobby, the pillows in the room were small, I did not like the set up of the bathroom, and the surrounding area of the hotel is...questionable (there was a homeless man sleeping on the side of the neighboring Post Office). The hotel is difficult to access--although it is off of Ball (a main street), you have to drive through a residential neighborhood to access the hotel lobby legally. Although the hotel says it is walking distance from Disneyland, I would not recommend it. On a positive note, we received a great rate. The staff was friendly, and was able to answer all of our questions and fixed the minor billing issue quickly. The drive to the Disneyland parking structure is less than 5 minutes, and we were able to see the firework show from the hotel! The Anaheim Resort Transit shuttle comes right to the hotel, and you can purchase the passes from the gift shop. October 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My only negative comment My husband and I are not fans of in-room safes and were pleased when we found out the hotel had safety deposit boxes for the guests use at the front desk. We inquired about the boxes and took advantage of the offer to use one. We brought our valuables to the front desk to place in the box and were handed the box over the counter. We asked if there was a private area to go to so we could place our valuables in the box. There was no where to go, you had to do it in the middle of the lobby with people everywhere. This was a very uncomfortable situation! When we came down to remove cash from the box for use that day we had to do this right at the desk, there was no privacy. When we asked if there was someplace to go to access the box that was private the fellow, Roberto, I think his name was, at the front desk, looked at us as if we were out of our minds. I was less than impressed!! This is a very nice hotel with excellent restaurant staff!! October 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful experience The entire staff was superb----Gary, Julio, Javier, Ernesto, Aiden (sp)---evening shift receptionist.......everyone could not have been more pleasant and accomodating. The room was spacious and very clean; very nice towels; the pool area very nice----warm pool and wonderful hot tub. We enjoyed the Disney fireworks from the parking lot every night. The hotel may represent itself as one block from Disney, and it is that---IF YOU COULD GET TO IT IN ONE BLOCK; walking it is more like 3/4 mile! A long walk for little legs, especially after a long Disney day.... even walking to the Disney tram was at least 1/2 mile or more. We never did take the hotel shuttle. Overall, a great location and perfect accomodations for our family. We did the Pizza Package and it was so worth it for our family. Thank you, Holiday Inn. October 17, 2012

The dining experience exceeded my expectations with good food at great prices, especially at dinner and the kid-friendly atmosphere with Toy Story figurines hanging from the colorful ceiling and flat screen tvs in booths for private viewing. The cleanliness, colorful accents and great staff made for a memorable stay and I would not hesitate to return. The walk to Disneyland, even with a 7 year old in tow, is easy but shuttles are also available. The pool is nice but we never took the plunge and the request for car service to the airport was handled by the front desk without any hassles. Their small gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and free weights and impeccably clean. Business Center accessible and gift shop on premises too. October 17, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Good from far but far from good Overall this hotel is fairly nice, but we had several issues with our stay. There was a dispute over the stay that we booked that was supposed to include breakfast but when we arrived to the hotel they claimed it did not. When I contacted IHG they told me that they would contact a manager and someone would get back to me to resolve and it took someone a better part of a day to contact me and they called my cell phone after 10pm and we had already went to bed so my phone was off so I missed the call. Then every time I tried to reach the manager during our stay she was never available. I was only finally able to talk to a "manager" upon checking out. She was rude and said that she would credit the breakfasts that we charged to the room, but we had only charged one breakfast to the room and the others we paid for with either cash or debit. So, I did not feel that the situation was resolved but she refused to give us any further credit and remarked that we should have charged all meals to the we're we supposed to know this?? We had other issues with our room. When we first checked in we asked that a crib be brought to the room and were told "someone will be right up". We were planning to go out, but decided to wait on the crib. We watched TV while we waited and ended up all falling asleep and the crib never came! We wasted an entire afternoon and ended up having to call again to let them know that it never came...ridiculous! When we arrived our bathroom was very dirty. There were dead bugs on the floor and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. The light in bathroom didn't work either. I took a clean dry wash cloth and ran it along the shower and it came out completely black. I brought the wash cloth to the front desk to complain and the gentleman at the desk had a horrified expression on his face when he saw it, quickly grabbed it and hid it from view, apologized but said that a manager was not available because it was their day off. The restaurant was decent, decent food for reasonable prices, however the hostess stand was completely overwhelmed. She could not handle both seating people and ringing up tickets. Each meal we had to wait in line just to cash out, which was frustrating when you are trying to get over to Disney for when it opens. The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about but it was the fastest option for breakfast, but was not always fully stocked and it was hard to get someone to refill any of the items if they ran seemed to always be out of bacon and it took a long time for them to refill. The gift shop was nice, it offered many things that you could get at the park but for a cheaper price which was nice. The only issue is that they do not have a large selection of sizes. We were trying to find a sweatshirts or hoodies for our kids since we come from the Tropics and do not own any since we don't need them, but the weather in the morning and evenings was chilly so we sought out the gift shop but they did not have any boys sweatshirts in kids sizes. We were able to find one for our daughter though. If you are going to stay here you need to be firm and persistant if you have any issues with your room. If you don't put your foot down and demand to speak with management you will never get anywhere at this hotel. October 17, 2012

The price was very good for it being close and much better priced than other competitors of the same distance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I booked my reservation check out date a day before we needed to checked out so I ended up making two reservations. When I explained the situation to the front desk agent checking me in he was accommodating and said it wasn't a problem. He took care of linking the two reservations in the system and just asked that when come down on the incorrect date to get the room key reauthorized for the extra day. It was a very pleasant experience. On check out date we were greeting with "good morning" four times by staff before even reaching the front desk to check out. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back next year. October 12, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old hotel and poor service The hotel rooms were old and mouldy. there was not fridge or kettle. the food and service in the restaurant was extremely poor. the only positive was the helpfulness of the desk staff who had to manage a busy hotel.
