Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, close to Disneyland, clean and quiet Close to Disneyland, a short walk and you're there. Quiet and clean are the top reasons for staying here. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly service, good location We were treated very well by the staff, who were eager to help us with our special requests. It was quite easy to walk to Disneyland from the property. December 11, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fun in the Sun One of the cheaper hotels in the area close to Disneyland; you get what you pay for December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Customer Service - Close to Disney From booking our rooms through checking out and heading back to LAX - the staff at the Anaheim Holiday Inn was exceptional. We had booked a Theme Suite for our son's first visit to Disneyland and were not let down. We stayed in the Star Wars Suite and our son loved it! The hotel is 1 block away from Downtown Disney. Easy walk on sidewalks. My wife and I made it with our 3 year old in less than 10 minutes. Again, I can't say enough about the staff here. They were beyond helpful and friendly. I've been an IHG member since 2008 and while I've stayed at some great IHG properties in that time; I have never stayed at one that could compare to this one. If you're going to visit Disney, do yourself a favor and book your room here. December 10, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 3 Days at Disneyland We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the themed suites, ours was the pirate room. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was straight out of an '80s trailer park. If you are going to have a room that is catered to kids, at least put a hand held shower head in the bathroom, and make the tub "bath" friendly. We showed up at 4:40 pm and were told our room would be ready in about half an hour. Great. However we were given free parking and breakfast for our entire stay so overall my first impression of the hotel was still really great. The breakfast buffet was cold and boring, but the rest of the week we ordered breakfast off the menu and the kitchen puts out excellent dishes. Plus all of the servers are really nice, and if you get there early enough you can grab a booth with a TV in it. The reason I chose this hotel over the Indigo was because of its location to Disneyland. The first day we walked, that night I carried one kid while pushing a stroller with another child and my wife and oldest child all agreed this is too far to walk with small children. The next day we took the ART which was fine getting there, but we left during peak hours and ended up standing at Disney for another 40 minutes. Was it worth $14, well I am not sure but the hotel has nothing to do with that. The last night we took our truck and parked in the parking garage which was directly outside our window. However by doing this, our walking time was reduced to 10 min and that only cost $17. (However, if I am driving, then hotel location becomes irrelevant) That night we closed Disney down and at 1:00 in the morning I found out my key did not work, so we walked all the way around the hotel to the lobby so I could stand in line for another 20 min while the two people in front of me checked in to get my key fixed. It seems my key was coded to check out the night before, but the clerk offered to comp my parking for that night. Too bad that was already covered. If you don't have small kids, or walking to Disney is not an issue, then I would recommend this hotel. December 6, 2014
