Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nearly 5 stars - but............................ I requested a quiet room and was allocated a room 2nd along a corridor leading to other guest rooms. The room became noisy late evening and at 9.45pm I rang reception informing them of the noise being created by a group of youths who were, I was informed, involved with a rugby tour. Apparently there had been complaints from other customers the previous evening. All credit to the hotel who reimbursed my bar bill when checking out. March 9, 2013

Warm greeting on arrival, phone call subsequently from front desk to check everything fine with the room (haven't had that for a while!). Swimming pool big enough for my needs(a few lengths before dinner); didn't use the gym. Good quality dinner in the restaurant and great breakfast, with friendly service. Late checkout provided for my partner. Have booked again for next visit to the client. February 19, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Manager We were staying overnight and had to be up early for a 45 mile run from Wendover to London, the manager on duty when we arrived arranged for the breakfast to be served early the following morning. He did this without us having to ask. He was on duty for the whole evening and the next morning, did not catch his name but a credit to the hotel and most of all a credit to himself - thank you . Good sized rooms, we booked in advance to secured a good rate - all mod cons,comfortable - no complaints. January 19, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New Year treat Although we live locally it was cheaper to stay here than get a taxi after our New Year function in a nearby village. The Hotel is clean and the staff very pleasant and the room functional and spotless. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the number of young children who not only made the pool area very frantic but seemed to spend the whole evening and the next morning running up and down the corridor knocking on each other's doors, the parent's did not seem to have any control over them nor any appreciation of the other guests. This of course is no reflection on the Hotel and really only goes to show how popular it was. Although I would be unlikely to stay again, as I live only 20 minutes away, I would recommend to friends and family. January 7, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My Weeks stay My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The staff of hotel and the staff of the Leisure centre were excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy and the bathroom was enormous. Cleaning staff were very good and the bar staff were very friendly. My only criticism was the room service. Although the staff were very polite and friendly the room service was very inefficient. There were no Breakfast order cards in the room so I had to give my order over the phone. My order was not passed on and because it was not on a card. I did not get the breakfast. On phoning the room service they rushed around and brought my breakfast but still no order cards for the next day. The staff as I said were very polite and friendly but just a little inefficient in the room service department. The rest of the hotel was all that I had expected and I would use the Hotel again if not the room service. (Ha Ha ) Your Above rating on Staff/Service should be two different questions as one could be good the other bad December 16, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great family weekend For my parents 60th wedding anniversary 25 of us spent the weekend here. The staff were great - thoughtful, helpful & flexible. It was good value too. On the Saturday evening we ate in a private dining room and all really enjoyed the meal. We enjoyed the pool & fitness centre and there are lots pf places to go for a day out - we went to Dunstable Downs. I'd highly recommend this hotel for an event like this. November 10, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would recommend Hotel was only 10 mins from town centre & yet was away from main roads so felt secluded. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Lovely room, well sized especially the bathroom which can sometimes be cramped. Very comfortable beds & I loved that we had a choice of firm and soft pillows. So sweet that our chambermaid lined my sons teddies along the bed after making it! Wooden blinds on the windows is a great idea, it totally blocked out the light. Plenty of tea / coffee making supplies were always left. We had a lovely view of the inner quadrant area which is very pretty with seating & trees. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No recognition at all as priority club member We were not given any priority check in, we were not as much as recognised as priority club members, we were offered nothing at all. All the other ICH hotels have been great in this regard - a free drink, even free wi fi in one case. This hotel did nothing of this nature and we won't be back. October 24, 2012
