The beds were smaller than I thought they were but comfortable. I think more outlets on the wall, especially on the side of the beds (not only between the beds) and long wall by TV so you can iron by the wall in front of the closet instead of having to use outlet in bathroom.
Pool - clean and very strong chlorine, in fact I think it was a tad to much. More tides need to be out when you have so many people at hotel for reunions or just getting away from home for the holidays. The pool attendant need to assure that the floor by pools are kept more dryer when you know that the pool was a high demand during the holiday. In other words, attention to pool area need to be done more frequently.

my stay was horrible from the beginning to the end. I was quoted one rate when I made the reservations only to find out it was $10 more per night. I was a part of the Garner Family Reunion.
My room wasn't clean. My feet stuck to the bathroom floor which was very sticky.
The lobby and sitting areas had debris scattered throughout. The parking lot had trash intermittently strewn throughout.
We received the best service at the breakfast buffet by the waitresses both mornings.
I had just returned from vacation in San Francisco where I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Airport South. The place was immaculate with a very helpful & professional staff. Maybe you could let them train these people. I will never stay there again. I told a friend who visits Beaumont frequently about the place and she quickly informed me that I should have stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street.
My sister had to change rooms because hers was so filthy & a board was holding up the wash basin. They at least credited for one night after seeing the condition of her room. The place was a complete MESS!

I wouldn't stay here again! I was very shocked at the service and some of the employees customer service skills. Training is definintly a must have for this location.

Not worth the money, front desk staff discourteous, outdated hotel, food less than adequate at breakfast, tv channels constantly going out, very small bar area, with no lounge area to relax without going to the room, weight room and pool need to be updated as well.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Beaumont Plaza was a great experience. The staff was most helpful (breakfast room, housekeeping, etc.) and friendly. The quality of service was what one would expect from Holiday Inn. We were a group of "old folks" celebrating the 55th. anniversary of our graduation from High School, and your people did well by us, from reservation to check out and everywhere in between.

Every employee that I encountered during my stay was happy and courteous. The indoor pool was too hot, after a long day at the softball complex, the temperature of the water at the pool was too hot to even be refreshing.

Where should I begin? First of all, the hotel was dirtier than I expected compared to other Holiday Inn properties. It was older, the carpet had an old worn out look to it. The gym area was not maintained cleanly and no towels were available. There were 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) staying in our room, so obviously we needed 4 sets of towels. When we requested for extra towels, the staff would not accommodate us until we made an extremely big fuss about it. The checkin process was way too long. Granted there was a softball tournament happening that weekend and many softball teams were staying there, but the staff should have known that ahead of time. There were no (zero) hangers available in our room and when we asked for more, the staff said they would bring it to us, but they never did. Wifi service was extremely slow and kept disconnecting the first night we were there, but gradually improved the second night. The icemaker machine did not work at all on the 8th floor and it did not seem the hotel staff even bothered to fix the issue.
Did I mention that this hotel is pet friendly? I did not know that and we had a dog in the room right next to us and it barked all night long. I love pets, but I did not expect to stay in a pet friendly hotel with a barking dog.
I would never stay at this property again. I only stayed here out of necessity since I could not get a room elsewhere.

Children running through the hallways and by my door well into the late night. I called the front desk and they told me pretty much tough luck about the noise. There is nothing they can do about it. They said that it was out of their control. They were absolutely right. That hotel was a free for all that night and I'm sure none of the guests got any sleep.I am done with Holiday Inn. It was expensive as well. The room was falling apart and was dirty. The carpeting was peeling off of the wall as well. The tv remote was hidden under the bed. There was also water stains on the ceiling tiles. Very disappointing hotel.

The room I stayed in was very dusty. There was a layer of dust on the furniture and the AC vents were black due to the amount of dust on them. It was disgusting. The other concern that I had was the AC couldn't be turned down lower than 70 degrees. I prefer to have the AC set to around 65, but couldn't adjust the thermostat lower than 70. The AC even struggled to get the temp down to 70 given the evening sun hitting the window (with shades closed). The temp hovered around 75 until the sun set and it finally cooled to 70. The last concern I had during my stay was the level of noise in the hotel. With a large open area in the center of the hotel, noise from the lobby and other floors traveled. I could hear kids running up and down the hall, screaming in the lobby, and doors opening and slamming shut. Luckily things quietened down late at night, but it was loud until around 11 or so. On a positive note, the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. However, I can't recommend this hotel due to the issues described above.

TV IR sensor needs repair; will not work with the remotes provided; Bathtub drain needs to be cleaned BADLY (very slow draining); lavatory drain needs to be cleaned (slow draining); Bathtub shower lever needs to be replaced (barely able to operate, almost frozen in place on water spigot; kingsize mattress sags toward middle from all sides (needs replacement, not that comfortable as is).

Immediately upon our arrival on 6/5/14 for a family reunion in Beaumont, Tx., I assume it was the hotel /front desk manager...... made us feel welcome! The overall hotel decor/layout is fantastic.(Especially, the indoor waterfall.) Breakfast in the restaurant was great.(We did see a mouse in the restaurant and quickly brought it to the attention of one of the service attendants. Several times we asked for extra room linens and were "quickly accommodated"! In fact, service was so good, the front desk actually did a follow-up call to make sure that the extra linen were brought up.............now that's service. I would DEFINATELY RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone else. Also, it's easy freeway access is awesome!

Hotel was good overall, they need to pay more attention to the internet problems. The staff seems unable to handle complaints about their service provider (internet) ,instead, they pushed me off to the provider for answers to the hotel's problem. I've stayed at this property several time's, so I'm disappointed with the staff on this stay.

Excellent stay. The only complaint I have is that one of the servers in the lounge was very lax in her attitude and service. On the other hand, the gal that served me the first day remembered my drink every time after that and was super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I didn't always get her as my server.

The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating when I asked about directions to a nearby golf course and room service. The hotel itself may be in need of a remodel but, walking in from the heat to the instant temperature change from the indoor waterfall was an instant relaxant from the long drive. I would definitely return for a stay at this hotel.

I checked in for Baseball Tournament and AC did not work in my room. I asked if they could fix it or switch my room. They told me they were overbooked and someone would get to it. I gave them my cell number since we would be at ballpark till 10:00 pm to call and let me know what was going on. NO calls and I called there no one knew what was going on. Got back to hotel and they had no message about problem but gave me a room that was still hot all night. No towels clean, no sheets for sleeper sofa, only three pillows for 5 people.
I will NEVER stay there again!
Pool area was trashed, water was disgusting!

Bed was too stiff. Woke up sore every morning. Vent in bathroom appear as though they were never cleaned. Curtain rod in bathroom broken. This was reported but no one came to repair. Asked for xtra pillows but did not get them. Big sticky like spot by work desk. Did not look like any attempt made to try to clean/clear it.
Seen a guest getting arrested at the front desk. Officers collected the other guest from their room and escorted them out.
I've stayed here serveral times before but this was the least satisfy stay. Thinking about staying at another location on future visits.

Do yourself a favor an continue on down the road and find another Holiday Inn Express. The staff here is VERY unprofessional. Staff used a Shop Vac outside my room at 1130 at night and gave me attitude when I asked them to stop so I could go back to sleep. Management gave me $20 off my bill! Great customer service, right? NOT EVEN CLOSE!!

Guests and security guard became locked in the hallway because the lock would not work. Desk clerk was clueless on how to deal with it and kept telling people to just take the pass key and go in. Coffee bar was completely cold or empty and no one was motivated to fill the decanters in spite of being told of the situation

We checked in and needed 2 beds instead of the king bed we booked, the staff instantly accommodated us with no grumbling. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air was ice cold. The complimentary coffee was excellent! We felt extremely safe with the security guard and hotel manager that were constantly making rounds. We have to come back to Beaumont next weekend and we are booking here! We also signed up to be Rewards Club members. We didn't try the food so that is the only thing we can't rate. I forgot to mention the price was great.
