Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice but some rooms are very noisy. Overall this is a very nice property with a helpful and friendly staff. My room on this visit was on the 5th floor near the elevator. It was very noisy as the window looked over the Air Conditioning mechanical stuff on the roof of the pool. It was very loud when it was running and kept me awake. Next time I will ask for a room on the other side of the building or further away from the pool/elevator. May 20, 2013

The Atrium was beautiful and the waterfall really was a very cool feature. The rooms were very comfortable and every employee we came in contact with was very helpful. We will be staying at this hotel for sure again in the future. April 29, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hotel room I was unhappy about the check in time. Over the phone less than 24hr before my arrival I was told check in was at 1pm. So I planned my travel time according but when I arrival at the hotel I was told it was at 4pm. I had to sit in the parking lot 3hrs. The staff was not sorry at all. My hotel temperature was uncomfortable. I set the thermostat to 58 and the room was still warm all night and the staff couldn't help. I've stayed at many hotel by Holiday Inn and this was the first unhappy experience I've had. April 26, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TIRED Was working nights. Couldn't sleep during the day due to construction! 3-21 at 10 am started tiling floors. Had to change rooms after contacting front desk 3 times. 3-22 heard jack hammers all day. was too loud to talk in lobby. Still didn't get any sleep. 3-23 jack hammering started at 1330. There was also a party going on outside my room til time for work. didn't get any good sleep this week. was a nightmare! April 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy room & service I checked in around 11:00PM - I am a Platinum & spend around 300+ nights a year on the road. The walk to the room was long - Its an Atrium Style Hotel. - A little dated and musty. The key didn't work so had to walk all the way back to the front desk. Finally got back to the room & it was like an ice box with the air on full. I turned off the air but the heater didn't work. Called the front desk & they didn't seem too interested, so I decided to leave. On my way out I saw a manager by the front desk. I explained my plight & he apologized & eventually talked me in to staying. By this time it was midnight. He put me in the room next door which at least wasn't cold, but I had the heater on all night just to feel comfortable. Somehow the carpet felt wet when I walked about - Overall probably the worst hotel I've been in within the Holiday Inn chain. Would not ever consider staying here again.............. April 23, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of water The property was nice but a little dated. The staff was wonderful and very responsive. Our stay was very unstatisfying as we had no water in the morning to bathe with or use of the toilet. We had to quickly pack up and leave as we had to go to Cracker Barrel to use their water and toilets. Not a good experience. We are platinum member of the priority club and was told as I was packing the car outside the hotel by the manager that our points would be reimbursed but haven't seen that happen yet. April 22, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable bed The King size bed was very comfortable and I did have a good night's sleep, however the faucet in the bathtub was running and needed to be repaired. The staff was great at taking care of this issue promptly. The only other issue is that the room had a strong urine odor when you walk in. It came from the bathroom, so I kept the door closed. I was tired so I did not want to complain again so I just put up with it! April 20, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel in Need of Repair and Basics The hotel was tired from neglect. The toliet was disconnected from the floor. The air vent was unhooked from the ceiling. Tiles from the ceiling were just cut to fit and were hanging out. Pillows were like square spongees. The price paid per night was exhorbant for the value delievered. All of this was left with the person at the counter on checkout. February 27, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beaumont Holiday Inn Very Disappointed. We had stayed there several years ago and had a great experience. 1. Arrived about 5:45 PM and no reservations. 2 . After introducing myself to the receptionist and was told there were rooms available, I handed him my Platinum Priority card and asked for the best rate available. I was told the rooms were $199.00 but he could let me have a room for $129.00 plus tax. I asked if that was the best rate and was told it was the AAA rate. I asked if they gave federal/military discounts and he then gave me $99.90 rate. The receptionist noticed I had a cast on my leg and was using a scooter to move about and he assigned me to a 1st floor room - I thanked him greatly! The receptionist gave me the room key and one ticket for a free drink at the bar, not to exceed $6.95. I asked if I could get another ticket for my wife( we had rec'd two tickets the last time we stayed there#. Was told they could only give one free bar ticket to the Priority card holder. As it turned out, we didn't use the free bar ticket and turned it in the following morning at checkout. 3. We looked at the restaraunt menue in the room and were shocked at the prices! This facility is set up for people on business expenses and people on per diem, not the normal traveler. My wife and I ate at cheddars that night. We stopped at McDonalds the morning after our departure.. 4 .I used my laptop and checked the charge against my account and saw a charge of $138.85 instead of quoted price $99.90 plus tax. I immediately called the desk and questioned the higher charge. Ashly answered the phone and stated the $138.85 was made up of 99.90 + 13.95 tax + 25.00 charge for using credit card. The $25.00 would drop off once the bill was cleared. #Was never informed there would be an additional charge of $25.00 against my account). I said okay. Then Ashly stated that I had gotten a really cheap price since the room normally goes for $199.00. I thought, why in the world would a person even say something like that. That comment added "No Value" whats so ever to our conversation about the $138.85 charge. Wasn't to impressed with Ashly's professionaism. 5.The facilities and grounds are very, very, nice. But - - -we will not be staying at the Beaumont Holiday Inn for future stays. We'll find a Holiday Inn Express. February 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed by hotel I had recently returned from a business trip in Chicago for 2 weeks and was looking forward to a romantic evening with my wife. We have stayed at the hotel before and enjoyed our time there. The website states the pool and whirlpool are 24 hrs with quite time after 9pm. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant/bar located in the hotel. After dinner we went down to the pool and a policeman told us that the pool was closed and could return in the morning at 6am. We then returned to the room to enjoy our evening and to get some rest but there were unsupervised children screaming,running around the balcony and banging on the walls. The lobby fountain that we enjoyed before also was not working. I understand the hotel is a family friendly environment and I have no problem with children having a good time but when it's goes on untill after 1am, I think the hotel should ask that they go back to their own rooms. We returned to the pool at 7am and it was still closed so we went to the restaurant and had breakfast. We tried returning to the pool around 9am and again around 10am and it was still closed. Whenever we went to the front desk to ask why the pool was closed,the lady was short and rude. Our room also had a hole in the sheetrock where the door had been slammed open and there was what seemed to be blood on the wall next to the tv. When we checked out the manager was nice and adjusted the room rate some but did not apologize for any of the inconveniences that we encountered. We travel a lot and like to try different hotels. We have only stayed at this hotel chain a couple of times. After our experience at this hotel we may not be staying at another Holiday Inn if this one represents the entire chain. I hope that management will take in account our concerns and work on improving them so other people who stay at the hotel will have a better experience than we did... February 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by extremely disappointed!!!! we stayed here with a group, had reserved 2 rooms about a week ahead of time. my husband is a platinum member with priority club, so we called and requested both rooms to be upgraded to the executive 2 room suites, we were told that they were available and that they would be held for us, we even told them it would probably be 2-3 am before we arrived, and were still guaranteed the rooms. when we got there, they had given our rooms away, we had a regular room w a pull out couch, there was no extra bedding, so those on the pull out had no pillows or blankets, only a sheet! there was a roach in my room, and we had a charge for 7.50 for a call we NEVER made! the rooms were right by the elevator, and SUPER noisy, my husbands air did not work, so they were hot, after calling the next morning, they comped one room, but due to the comp, we did not get any of our points, only the points from the stupid phone call we did not make!!!this will be the last time we stay at this hotel, and will likely change our outlook on future stays with holiday inn as a whole! ps, the pool was also filthy and closed!!! Since we did not want to dress for dinner, we ordered our evening meal from room service and was delighted with the food and with the prompt service. All in all, the accommodations at Beaumont were the best Holiday Inn experience we had while traveling. Thank you. January 5, 2013

Lobby bar is comfortable and inviting. The room is quiet, clean, comfortable and freshly decorated. Coming in on business for a day and a half stay is something to look forward to. January 4, 2013

This is a really nice Holiday Inn, staffed by wonderful people...there is an amazing fountain in the lobby which is worth a trip to see by itself...the rooms are large and clean...the food is good but not great....parking and access from the Interstate are easy...you will enjoy your visit...
