Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent on the whole except for Room Service Menu I have stayed at this hotel numerous times recently, and have always found the rooms comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. However recently a new bar and room service menu has been introduced, and inexpicably now, Sandwiches and other light meals are only available until 6pm. This might seem a minor point, but when I return to the hotel in the evening, sometimes all I want is a quick light meal. For now I guess I'll collect a sandwich on my way back to the hotel, but this menu restriction is unnecessary, and is frankly perplexing. December 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 HIBA WHOOOO This is a greatHotel, wonderful service and very helpful and pleasent staff that go out of their way to help you. I wasnt welcomed as an IHG Member due to my own fault, I forgot about claiming my rewards until; the next morning but I only asked and they were immediatley put on, no problem. All was really wonderful, made the starty of our holiday special. The shuffle service was very good as well and drivers were very pleasent. December 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Birmingham Airport Hotel Review On Arrival at the hotel my first impressions were of how friendly and helpful all the staff were, the room I booked was a Queen Executive which was as you would expect was an excellent room which was spotless. I was able to leave my car at the hotel while I visited the NEC I caught the hotel shuttle bus to the airport station and then just crossed over into the NEC the Driver like all the other hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The next morning the breakfast was first class and plentiful and again the staff couldn’t have been more friendly they came across as if they wanted to be at the hotel and enjoyed working there as I will enjoy stopping there again very soon there is nothing I could mark this hotel down on. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Birmingham Average The hotel is well situated for the airport which is why I was there. The particular day it looked like they were very short of staff and when this normally occurs you see managers and others stepping up, not on this occasion. Breakfast was unorganized and lacking cohesion, when I did meet a waitress, she was excellent, very helpful and small actions found ways to lift the atmosphere. Lack of staff, direction and management. If all is going well management can interfere, in this case it needed either more waiting staff or more hands in general. Sometimes you are unfortunate to pick a tough day, perhaps this was one of those days. December 8, 2014
