Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff I have been staying at this property consistently over the past year and half, the staff is always friendly and helpful especially Kohlby and Tony. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable always providing a good night sleep. They even found a missing charger in my room, called me saying they had it and I was able to pick it up before I left town. Great honest service. the restaurant is not typical of a hotel restaurant. The food is very fresh and very good with a daily special that is always new. Peter in the bar is always ready with a joke and helpful to your needs. Over a great staff, great property, great restaurant. Highly recommend this location. April 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Was a step above my every expectation. The room was clean, stocked, refreshed daily to a more than satisfactory status. For instance the towels and bathroom supplies were placed exceptionally well. The bedding was perfect clean and comfortable. The pool, hot tub and adjoining areas were exceptionally well maintained. The lounge, was small but delightful,food from the restaurant was always acceptable to excellent. Arika who worked the front desk was outstanding, as was the young woman who checked me out on Thursday. Both made me feel special. Tony at the desk was also very helpful in assisting me with a nighttime dining selection. The other tony who drives the shuttle van is nothing less than a treasure. If someone was an example of what you would want as an employee in your business Tony is that example. He keeps you informed, makes you feel comfortable, tells you little tips or historical info about the area and points out interesting places along the route. Charles at the lounge or Peter will know your name right away and always greet you pleasantly, and the morning crew in the buffet will take good enough care of you,if you do not find something you like there, you are not hungry. I had the buffet breakfast and it was one of the worst I have had at an IHG property. Not worth what I paid for it. Other than the breakfast the stay was great. January 25, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad choice This hotel is close to our new office lucky for them or else we wouldn't stay here. The rate we receive is also a good reason .the bar is conveint , but he us over worked when it comes to getting food orders to you in a timely manner. My medium rare steak was cold and well done!!. When I checked in my room I saw my microwave light blinking and to my disgusted there was a chicken wing in it from the prior guest I can molt assume. I travel 15 days out of the month so I know hotels good and bad ,and this is a bad one!! December 21, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful! I just can't say enough good things about the Bolingbrook Holiday Inn and Suites. I have been staying at this hotel every week over the past year for business and each time I check in I am treated like a member of the family. And I mean the good side of the family! I am welcomed by my first name and my paperwork is always ready to go keeping my check-in process short and sweet. Tony, Kholbe, Mike, and Peter absolutely spoil me when I'm in town and truly make my time away from home much more enjoyable. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the amenities fantastic but it's really the staff that keeps me going back week after week. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dirty room Upon check in I was given Room 109. As soon as I opened the door I was welcomed with the most foul stench I have ever experienced. The room stunk so bad that I immediately asked for another room. The front desk upgraded me to room 402. The room appeared clean until I dropped something in the bedroom. When I pulled back the dust ruffle I noticed that there was a substantial amount of peanut waste(shells and peanuts) along the bed pedestal. Obviously the maid only vacuumed what she thought she could get away with. Lastly, I was chastised by the manager on duty that night for not filling out these surveys when I commented during check in that I usually don't. I have my reasons for that but I don't think it's any managers right to embarrass a patron in front of others. Regards, LRB November 3, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Promised shuttle service to Wedding Reception NEVER CAME!!! My daughter was married last week. When she was making arrangements, she sought a reputable hotel that offered shuttle service to and from the reception throughout the evening/night. At that time, she thought this Holiday Inn would be a good choice. That was unfortunately....NOT the case! I was the mother of the bride. The shuttle going from hotel to reception NEVER ARRIVED. Finally a 15 or so of us had to drive ourselves. I was literally LATE for my own daughter's reception. When I spoke with manager while waiting for shuttle, I found him rude and very rigid.....clearly did not care about this situation nor my daughter's wedding day. Also, their $10.00 breakfast buffet was very poor. Cold, very poor selection. We wound up ordering off the menu, which was quite good. I have stayed at hotels with FREE breakfast buffets which were much, much better than this one. You won't see me back here again. Nor the other 150 guests attending the wedding. October 30, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the price I have been a loyal to this hotel chain for years. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of this particular hotel. We had a suite. My son pulled out the sofa sleeper and was shocked to find used sheets and a can opener. The room seemed old and rather used, abused. . Due to the cleanliness of our room we chose not to eat at the hotel restaurant. The front desk clerk was not familiar enough with the area to recommend a restaurant. October 29, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service My niece asked for my rooms of two to be ready for an early check in due to the fact that we had been at an amusement park that day and wanted time to get children ready for a 5:00 p.m. wedding. We again called again the morning of check in with the same request. We asked for a 2:00 check in and were not aloud in until 3:00. This made us very rushed to get to the wedding on time and get the children baths, etc. My niece with no early check in was in her room 30-45 minutes earlier than us. October 17, 2013

It took about three weeks for the sales staff to respond to numerous calls and emails about booking a room block. When i was contacted the first time i had to basically chase down the rep. that i had talked to. After we had or room block full they were unwilling to reserve more rooms for me some of the guests in our block receive a rate about $50.00 higher than the block rate. So i had to call and fix that. The shuttle service was terrible i had a room block of 20 and was assured that our group would be shuttled back and forth with now issues. That did not happen we the shuttle on the way to the venue get canceled. Again had to call a complain. On the way back there again was only one shuttle for around forty people??? Overall a terrible experience for this IHG platinum member. October 12, 2013

The room smalled musty, the bed pillows were messy, there was not a menu for food or a quick reference sheet for information in addition to the web service, in the shower there was hair on the walls, the sink looked it had been cleaned but not cleaned well, the door and the shower curtain had this brownish colored marks on the door and shower curtain. Just gross. Not sure I will stay at a holiday inn again, unless I have no other option. Also disappointed that the only option for food is that we had to pay for it. Just fruit, bagels, juice in addition to the free coffe should be free then charge for the other food options. October 9, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Nightmare This hotel was recommended by BBGC, so we used it. The day we signed up was very comforting and we were promised a lot of things. Unfortunately the only thing we received that was promised were the room. First, my guests were turned away before the block had expired with room still available under that block. Second, people were contacted and asked who was staying in their room. Third, the bags we made were to be passed out upon check in, instead they were out on a table the whole weekend. (some of my guests did not get them and I made extra bags). Fourthly, we were promised shuttle services and one of the times that were written on a board in the lobby, instead no one showed and my guests had to drive themselves. Fifthly, the last shuttle driver to leave came into my reception as I was dancing my last dance and was announcing that the last bus was here. (We were not late, he should have stayed in his car). Lastly, my bridal sweet had dirty dishes in hall outside of my room and people were shouting up and down the hallways all night. The best part of all of this was that we were told we would receive points based on how many people we could book for our wedding block. We have STILL not received them. The hotel tells us to contact corporate and vice verse. OVERALL TERRIBLE DECISION. If you are planning a wedding STAY AWAY!!! October 7, 2013

The couch, wall decor, and carpet looks like something my great-grandmother had in her house in the 60's. I did like the way the suites are setup and the cleanliness. You just need to do some redecorating ASAP. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Each time we called for something, the staff came right away. The only time I had to wait was when I called for batteries for the remote after maintenance was off. I had to call back the next morning. The front desk should have batteries for such instances. I liked that it had easy access to the freeway as well as located near several restaurants and stores. September 29, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Experience My daughter's soccer team had a wonderful experience with your hotel. Our room was wonderful, comfortable, and very clean! The hotel staff was so kind to let the girls hang out in the lobby, eat a meal together, play cards, visit; all things important to team bonding. When one family had a bad experience (a rowdy wedding party), the staff was incredible in accommodating them and making things better. Due to an injury, my daughter and I had to return for an unexpected second night; the staff was amazing. Caring, compassionate staff! I wish I could remember the gentleman that was at the front desk when we checked in both nights; he was incredible! Thank you! September 5, 2013
