Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Always like our stay there.
We have had the pleasure of staying there on several occasions and thoroughly enjoy our time spent there.
However, one little point is that as IHG members we are entitled to a free newspaper every morning, but we were actually charged for the two morning papers. It's a very small amount but making a point on principle.

Booked this hotel on a recent visit to Leeds. Easy to get to at a busy time of day thus avoiding the traffic congestion in Leeds. Staff friendly and room jus the job for me. Had a good nights sleep and they've obviously refurbished the bathrooms with a lot of thought. Would definitely book again. Thanks

Friendly and reliable staff. Enjoyed the leisure facilities. Good, varied breakfast. Comfortable room - clean bathroom. A relaxing stay.

Close to M62, with lots of public areas to sit and read, work or have small meetings.
Good WI-Fi connectivity and use of gym to unwind.
Food in restaurant or bar area very good and waiter/waitress service very friendly and efficient
Check in / check out is a painless experience

The reception staff were initially friendly but myself and the person I was travelling with were made to feel that we became a nuisance after asking about the points system on more than one occasion as our points were not added to our accounts. In fact during our last stay there were more people travelling with us and they even commented on the way a member of reception staff was with us. I had to move rooms on one occasion due to their being an overwhelming smell of drains. Disappointing that there are no lifts, I had to struggle up the stairs with my bags. There was also a staff party one evening which was not conducive to a good nights sleep. The old bathrooms are abysmal and some of the newly fitted ones overflow when you use the shower. I reported this to reception, they advised me that they were aware. The only positives were that the breakfast choice was good, option for takeaway hot drinks is very good. One member of bar staff (American) was really friendly and took the time to remember your order, she is a credit to your business. The breakfast staff were also very friendly. Overall despite needing to stay in the area we have moved elsewhere.
