Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad hotel - unhelpful staff, uncomfortable beds, smokey room I called the hotel several hours before our arrival to ask for a crib. I was placed on hold, and left on hold, several times. After finally getting through to someone, I was assured a crib would be waiting in my room. When we arrived the exterior of the building looked very nice, as did the front entrance. At check in I asked about the crib and was told it was being set up in room. We carried sleeping children inside, and no crib. I called the front desk, was placed on hold, and then was taken off hold but left 'on the counter' as the hotel staff talked. I hung up and called back, rather annoyed, and was then told 'other families have the cribs. We have no more'. No apology... And this after I'd been assured a crib was being set up in my room. We now had an awake baby, at 10pm, and no crib. After finally getting the kids to sleep, we looked for a mini-bar to get a drink. No mini-bar, although the hotel had swiped my credit card for $50 of 'incidentals' which I found extremely strange. I travel at least once per month for work, and have never had an actual amount taken off my card in advance. We tried to adjust the heat in the room - it was boiling. The ac kicked on and we settled into a very uncomfortable bed. It sloped inwards, and felt like a bed at someone's old cabin. Lumpy and incomfortable. The room decor was very dated and smelled of smoke. However, the hallways were very nice. Overall we will hopefully never stay at a holiday inn again. There are so many options in this price range... I will pick from other chains in the future. Nice exterior - but I'd rather stay in an ugly hotel with a great room, not the other way around. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Close to major roadways Efficient service, clean room, easy to access hotel and travel to next destination in Calgary. Bathroom was missing large towels, lighting in entrance way wasn't working properly and shower head water stream was so hard that it hurt. July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom towels There were only three towels in the bathroom and there were four of us staying in the room which had two queen beds. Since we all like to shower daily there needs to be enough towels. I should not have to go and find housekeeping to ask for another set of towels. We stayed in Calgary and Lethbridge Holiday Inn Expresses and both were the same (only 3 towels). The grandkids loved the pools and hot tubs. It was a great way for them to run off some energy after a long day of travel. We also like the breakfast. It is a convenient way for us to get on the road early. July 25, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rude staff We stayed at the hotel on 2 sperate nights, on each occation there were extra charges that was not disclosed when we booked the hotel. We found the front desk staff rude, especially the young females. The linen in your room had a weird stain on it. I will not stay there again or recommend the hotel to friends July 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Calgary Airport -- Park Sleep and Fly For just a few dollars more than paying for an expensive parking place in one of the large airport parking lots, I was able to leave my vehicle at the Holiday Inn parking area for up to two weeks and have a good night's sleep before my early morning flight to Toronto. I brought food with me and was able to heat up a late dinner in my room's microwave and refrigerate some food I brought with me for breakfast. The building is older but up to Holiday Inn's usual standards with everything you would expect in a hotel: cleanliness, 24 hr shuttle, restaurant, bar, fitness room and business centre. Each room has an ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker. WiFi was free. The staff was professional and efficient. As an added bonus there was an airport listing of flight departures on a screen in the lobby. You could easily find out if your flight was on time before heading to the airport. July 21, 2015
