Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight stay It was my first time in Chicago, I was there to visit family. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The shuttle service made it convenient but their website said the bus comes every 30 minutes but it's actually every 45 minutes. We waited almost an hour for the shuttle . The hotel is older but very clean and it is quiet in the hallways. The rooms are well appointed. We had a very restful stay. The convenience store at the lobby was OK but expensive. $2.49 for a bottle of water! Ithe was a tiring flight into Chicago and I wasn't sure if I booked my stay with breakfast, so I called concierge to inquire. I was told that I hadn't but they thanked me for being a Rewards Club member and Izamar sent breakfast vouchers to the room. Thank you very much! Your personal touch and gesture took away my negative experience with the shuttle service and the convenience store. You changed my perception and your hotel will be my residence every time I visit Chicago from now on. November 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and Convenient Property, while older, is well appointed and had everything we needed for a two-night stay. We also added and utilized the park and fly option for a weekend trip out of town with an early departure. The cost was the same as parking at the airport in the remote area. Be careful, however, to get on the right shuttle as there are at least three Holiday Inns that provide hotel shuttles. Check the address carefully or you'll have a free ride to another property as we did. November 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Quality Close to CTA I had an enjoyable stay here. Ask for a room facing front of hotel so you won't be looking out on freeway. The higher floor gets more sun! The lobby doesn't have much (nice) seating, but no card-entry business center. The restaurant on premises is fine, but nothing special. Ditto breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful--consistently. Although be sure to tell them about any status and ask for upgrades as they didn't ask or offer. Oh, and easy walk from CTA L train. (No need to take their shuttle there, unless raining cats and dogs.) November 14, 2015
