No vending machines available;
Rooms were no equipped with a refrigerator; and,
Clothes iron and ironing board in poor repair.

Was very impressed on arrival with the overall look of the hotel. took a little time to check us in after our confirmation details came in, but all was taken care of professionally at the desk. Checked in the room and relaxed, Nice area felt safe on the streets of the town, Gym was good, looks like it is missing some bar bells sets, able to adjust the volume of the music. Sauna was relaxing overall a very nice stay

Smelled like mildew, had water dripping from air vent from heavy condensation, had to call several times to get towels sent because they forgot! staff never cleaned our room and / or took the trash until I called a couple of times and finally someone came up to our room. Was very disappointed in the quality of our stay. If I ever come to Corpus Christi again I will not be staying at this hotel!

Stayed there for 1 week to attend a conference. Location is awesome on the Shoreline. Great restaurant and lounge area with outside seating in view of the gulf and beautiful palm trees.
The hotel is in average to above average condition. Very dated and obviously in progress of renovation.
Victor at the front desk was extremely helpful. The bar tenders were very cordial and helpful as well.
My only complaint is the housekeeping staff was very poor. My first day upon arrival the provided bathroom amenities/shampoo & lotion bottles were only half full and appeared to have been used. I threw them away and obtained new ones. My second day after attending conference all day my room was skipped. Called the office and they sent someone up to clean. I tipped them each day in hopes for improvement. Needless to say there was not tip on my last day.

The hotel is lovely and the staff was gracious. My room was spacious and well appointed. However, the carpet was almost soggy wet and the air was heavy with moisture, which was not adequately handled by the air conditioning. I heard other guests complaine about the air in the rooms. There is construction/upgrades going on and I do feel it will be great. However, it was over priced compared to another popular chain less than a block from there where I stayed just 5 nights before.

As a past Hotelier in Management including being a General Manager, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I am a very demanding person (quietly) and very observant to what is going on in a hotel. This staff very seldom was perplexed or rattled by almost anything going on for any group or individual in the hotel. Guest Service are the middle names of almost everyone on staff! that's a very difficult thing for me to say about ANY hotel.
