Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed nothing else I was terribly disappointed in my stay and quality of the room for the price. I understand they were remodeling but all common areas were perfect, my room on the other hand needed lots of work. From the moment we walked in the floor was dirty, the furniture was dusty. I have always stayed at Holiday Inns in the past, and this stay was ranked the worst. March 4, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dated and dirty I was most disappointed in the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. The bathroom floor was dirty. When we checked in there was a partially used bottle of shampoo on the floor. The bottle remained there throughout our stay, even though the room was supposedly cleaned while we were there. In addition to the shampoo bottle, the bathroom was noticeably dirty. The room had areas that were only partially painted. When we checked in, the gentlemen helping us did not speak good English. We asked about the breakfast package we had purchased, and finally understood that yes it was included, but we were to just go to the restaurant. Upon arriving for breakfast, the next morning, we were informed that we should have been given vouchers for breakfast. The waitress went above and beyond to not only get us the voucher for that day, but also for the next one. The waitress and the clerk in the coffee shop were the only people we encountered during our stay that seemed to care about customer service. I have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn properties, most of which were significantly less expensive, and have never found one to be as poorly maintained as this one, I will have the opportunity to travel to Corpus Christi for business several times over the next few months. I will be looking to stay elsewhere. March 2, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Forgettable evening The hotel got us off on the wrong foot by expecting extra for one of their parking spaces. Then the ventilation inside of our room was so inadequate that after showering, we had to open the door to the hallway for any air to flow and get the steam out of our room. There was a nice balcony attached to our room, but it was locked shut by the hotel. At the end of a long, tiring day, we at least took solace in the prospect of an upcoming good night's sleep. But no, that was not happening either. You see, just as our weary eyes were reaching the prime sleep time, at about 1 AM, an oversized (we counted at least five voices# of party-ers came "home" to their room next to us. Under usual circumstances in our experiences elsewhere, the quality of the constructed walls would greatly help buffer individual voice sounds in the adjacent room. But not here! We heard every blessed word from these party people (more in the room than possibly were registered there). To make matters worse, their room and ours had an access door between them, the door cracks of which made it even easier to be bothered by their voices. We had to turn on the TV to drown them out. They carried on for another 2 hours, then 3 hours after that were back up and yacking. This night was made worse by the front desk taking no satisfactory action to recompense us for the atrocious experience. Why should we be responsible for their poor workmanship and control of residents? February 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another Great Stay Another excellent stay at Corpus Holiday Inn Marina. The service is great. A shout out to David and Victor at the front desk!! These two people were very helpful with not only the reservation, but also helping to point out places to see while in Corpus Christi. These two guys went above and beyond to help make my stay in Corpus good. The service from the bar was great as well. The first night there was a lady named Sky at the bar and the second night it was Michelle. They were both very helpful answering any questions I had about the surrounding area. They also encouraged me to eat food from the hotel restaurant. The food was once again great!! Thank you to the chef. Hopefully, my next trip to this hotel I will be able to meet and thank the chef in person. I really haven't found anything wrong with the hotel. I plan on staying here quite a bit this year for business so I will keep people posted. Once again the exercise room, pool, and sauna were great. They are well kept up. Kudos to the staff!!
