Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dodgey neighborhood and dated decor When I arrived, I knew I had made a mistake. The neighborhood is a collection of liquor stores, tobacco shops, and convenience stores. There's a lot of shifty-looking characters walking around and there's easy pedestrian access to the parking lot. The hotel's décor is dated and rundown. My room had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom had hair in the toilet and bathtub. There was an awful chemical smell in the room and hallway. December 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worse than Other Holiday Inns I travel quite a lot for business (8 months out of every year), and have stayed at many different hotels, including several different Holiday Inn Expresses. This one didn't meet my expectations compared to other Holiday Inns I've stayed at. The rooms did not have a mini fridge or a microwave, which is pretty typical any more at most hotels. Also, the breakfast was $8, and this wasn't communicated until after I had gone to the buffet and gotten my food. The food is the same food I've gotten at other Holiday Inn Expresses for free (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, etc.). The exercise facility was nice and better than most hotels I've stayed at. The pool is outside, so it is not available during winter months. The room itself was decent. Beds were comfortable and equal to other hotels I've been to. The bathrooms were smaller than most hotels I've been to. Overall, not a bad place and a great location, but I was disappointed that I was charged for breakfast and that there were no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms. December 7, 2014

Just three to five minutes across bridge to downtown Cincinnati which made this very convenient for me, since my purpose for this visit was being held in downtown Cincinnati. Several fast food establishments are within walking distance of the hotel. December 1, 2014
