Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location! Hotel was in excellent location for visit to London (from 3 Bridges station) and then on to Gatwick Airport the following day. Room was great. Only problem was lack of internet connection. Had dinner on the first night and was mainly good, but young son had the pizza and for £12 expected more than a cheap frozen pizza. Health club next door is excellent and loads of parking available (albeit a bit steep at £10 a night). Overall, good experience and wouldn't let the niggles put me off from using again next time in area. April 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stop-off for Airport My wife and I were in a family party of nine, including three young children. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to Gatwick, in order to get an early morning flight. Overall, the experience was good, especially in our room. We all had dinner, which was reasonable, and the kids ate free! The service was slow, mainly down to the sheer volume of guests arriving. Check-in was efficient and staff were friendly, but procedures could be improved, especially with booking in of our two vehicles. Check-out and retrieval of cars was excellent. The only real problem was that there was a wedding party at the hotel on the same evening. Two of the guests were in the room next to us, talking loudly, but they went downstairs and we slept well before the early morning call at 3.15 am. At check-out, however, one guest was incandescent with rage - he had been allocated a room too near to the wedding party. April 16, 2015
