Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better the second time This was my second stay at this property. I was not impressed on my first visit, largely because I had expectations that the property failed to deliver. This time, I knew better what to expect. On the negative side, I hate the layout of this property. It's an architectural nightmare (on the inside, at least - it looks fine outside#. It's as if two...or three...buildings were cobbled together with no architect to make a seemless connection. At one point, I was unable to retrace my steps back to my room from the restaurant, so I had to go back to the lobby and start over. I never did find the stairs I came down to go back up - I ended up using the elevator. On the positive side, the front desk staff was very nice at both check-in and check-out #however, the bartender wasn't that friendly...). As a Priority Club member, I was given the choice of extra points, free breakfast, or a cocktail. That was nice. The room itself was clean and mostly quiet. I was just there for one night - it was fine. I would stay there again. June 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Time Both my wife and I are from Ireland and we stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The Wi Fi signal was excellent. We used the fitness center and swimming pool and really enjoyed having these amenities in the hotel. The staff were very friendly both at check in and throughout our stay. May 24, 2013

I was there 3 days and the whole time I could hear the TV in the adjacent rooms and the person walking in the room above me (apparently this person liked to walk a lot) May 22, 2013

I'm treated like family and the location is perfect. The staff always are customer focused and ensure I have a great stay. I stay at this location for Business meetings every other month and the rooms have always been Clean, no noise and I feel very safe. I have co-workers who also stay and we wouldn't want to stay any other place. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner are great and priced just right. Every staff member remembers my name and goes out of their way to me my stay, a great stay. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Dublin to anyone. Thanks!!!!! Tim B. May 21, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Run Down Hotel in a great location Not all rooms have a refrigerator or microwave. So when you plane on staying there for more than 2 days this is not good. Cleanliness of room is horrible, they don't always replace all your towels. The rooms don't get cleaned before 3:30 or 4:00, even when you leave @ 0630. My first week, the only highlight wa the bar/restaraunt. When youread it has a fitness center, you should know that consist of 1 treadmill, 2 bikes, elliptical machine, and1 weak weight machine that limits what you can do. My second week I moved into a room with a refrigerator and microwave. which was better until I realized the shower leaking was going to keep me up all night. After 3 attempts to have it fixed, I realized it was a waste of time. Again the room weren't cleaned well and towels weren't replaced. My previous poor review from the first week was deleted and we'll see if they delete this one as well. May 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best full service hotel near the 580 and 680 interchange I have been staying at this property for its very good location but I have found that the management and staff members are so focused on my satisfaction that I stay here now even when not as convenient for my business trip. The property is consistently being upgraded and improved; when I have any issues at all they are immediately handled and I just get the feeling always that everyone cares. The pricing for a full service hotel is the best in the area and I appreciate that each time I visit I always notice some improvement in some area of the hotel. The maintenance team seem to be focused on constant meaningful improvement over cosmetic ones. The housekeeping staff are very attentive and work around my schedule. The front desk folks are attentive and their manager is always focused on customer satisfaction. Food and beverage management and staff create something better than "hotel food" and are flexible to make their customers feel special. Food and beverage manager is always interested in what her clients are looking for and keeps the beverages that their regular clients ask for. You cannot beat this property and team anywhere in the tri valley area. May 14, 2013

I would recommend the Holiday Inn Dublin for anybody staying in the area, close to freeways and very close to Bart very handy to get around the Bay May 13, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nightlife Parties We thought the location and hotel where in a nice area! Although if there are bookings for the convention rooms for nighttime parties be sure to book in the detached building if you want any sleep! We were there for a training and exhausted after a day workout. To return to loud bass/music till 12:30 am. Needless to say a lot of folks were not happy. If it wasn't for the exhausting day we would of had no problem with the music/party because we would of been enjoying our nightlife as well... to the wee hours of the morning. Other than that nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will return when in the area and need lodging. May 10, 2013

I've been a platinum member for years, I stay at Holiday Inn hotels almost every week and I must say... this one was one of the worst I've ever stayed at. I have stayed at this hotel three times. The first time my stay was excellent. Good service, good clean room, breakfast was included. The second time nothing was included and the reception was poor. I throught I would give it one more try as anyone can have a bad day but my third stay was the worst yet. There won't be a forth visit for me. PS I was offered a bottle of warm water, which I declined. May 7, 2013

Even opened the restaurant for us when it was not scheduled to be open. Room rates offered were great. Housekeeping was a little slow but was not a problem. After checking out several hotels in the area (Fremont, Concord, Walnut Creek, Dublin/Pleasanton) I have found the best! Holiday Inn Dublin-Pleasanton is amazing! The facilities, rooms and restaurant are incredible. The staff is very attentive, pleasant and always smiling! They all make my stay each week feel like "Home away from Home"! Positives were convenient accessibility of parking, security in the building / parking lot, location of surrounding restaurants, and a comfortable bed. Concerns were outsides noises were prevalent in the room, the sink stopper was loose and I had to remove it to drain the sink, most mornings it took an extended amount of time to get hot water in the shower, and the last day the room did not receive complete housekeeping as there was a pile of linens left on the desk chair. I passed by the front desk to request attention with the sink stopper but it had not been addressed by the time I checked out 3 days later. I do plan to stay at this property again. I just thought management should be aware of some of these issues. Thank you! April 3, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by small room The room was so small my husband and I were constantly tripping over each other. The pillows although say soft and firm were not either just lumpy. And I HATE king size beds without a fitted bottom sheet. Roll over once and you are sleeping on the mattress. I had a box arrive and was not informed it had arrived. So glad I decided to double check before I left!!!!!!!!!!!! I was there once before and I don't remember the room being so small. But I won't stay there next year. March 22, 2013

But whenever I'm close enough I stay at the Holiday Inn Dublin. As a result about 90% of my nights are there. The biggest reason is the friendly staff but also the location. Whenever I am in the East Bay, I will only stay at the Holiday Inn in Dublin. The staff is always the best from top to bottom. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. They are always there at a moments notice whenever I need anything. Never a bad time. Front desk girl the other day, Danielle, I think her name was, did a great job and made me feel right at home. When I had a minor issue at the front desk management was very much focused on customer satisfaction and immediate resolution. Great gym and indoor pool. Friendliest staff I have met. These concerns were brought to the attention of a very concerned and customer oriented manager. Last week’s stay was not only an improvement but also a genuine pleasure. The property on the exterior is well maintained and the housekeeping staff were superlative in care of my room, smelling very clean when I returned in the afternoon. The staff in the dining area are wonderful, cheerful and obviously intent on a pleasant dining experience, indeed the cuisine at breakfast and dinner were outstanding, visibly and to my palate. Overall, this was a most pleasant stay and intend to return to this hotel. The staff in any hotel to me always make a difference and these folks know how to take care of you! March 12, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor beds, bathroom fan doesn't work and fire alarm to top it off We have stayed at numerous Holiday Inns & Holiday Inn Express facilities over the years. We would not recommend this facility. The beds were Sleep Number beds and not good. The bathroom fan did not work, and balcony door only opened about 6 inches. Air conditioning unit blew right on the bed. Staff told us we could park semi in the lot , only if we could fold it up, also told us to drive around the building, apparently they didn't realize that one wing only had a 6 ft. clearance!!! Could be a problem I would think. Housekeeping phoned on Friday morning, only day we could sleep in at 9:25 am to see if we wanted room cleaned? Fire alarm went off at 9:45 pm and rang for about 10 minutes. Front desk staff didn't seem to know if it was a false alarm or not! Fridge and micorwave in room a nice bonus though, but still wouldn't recommend staying here. March 9, 2013
