The bed was very comfortable. I slept very well.
Sorry. But this does nort help you. I need to write at least 50 characters. Why? I was very positive in my review, but this last part does not help.

They just could not do enough for you, complimentary items delivered to your room for the items you forgot, always greated with a smile, the ease of check in and check out was just fantastic. Great location close to the city and the Zoo, the Zoo deserves a visit and Edinburgh is just fabulous.

All Holiday Inns are good - you know that before you book, but this one is in a very good location not only for the west side of the city, but easy access to the rest. The rooms are very good IHG standard as you would expect, and the bar and dining areas are welcoming and efficient. Top marks to this hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Oor Wullie Good Overnight Stay
Staff were great at check in - which was quick, friendly and simple. As we were attending a meeting at 12:00 hours, I had telephoned beforehand, asking if it was possible to "book-in" early. We arrived at our room, on the third floor, got changed into suits. Got a Taxi outside the door, which took us straight to George Street. This was an overnight stay in a twin bedded room. The beds were comfortable, which ensured a good night's sleep. The room was clean and well presented. The bathroom was a bit dated. The upside was big white fluffy towels. Common areas were clean and tidy. Bar staff were friendly and helpful, but when I asked for a dram of "Old Pulteney" malt whisky (the world's No.1 whisky) I was told told that they did not have it. Breakfast in the morning was a self service buffet. Plenty of tables in the restaurant and no need to queue. Overall a good place to lay your head, after a hectic meeting.
