Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient hotel near to Chester Zoo I booked this room for myself & my 21 year old daughter as we planned a visit to Chester Zoo & also Cheshire Oaks Shopping outlet. It was very convenient for both & we loved the extra facilities of a swimming pool & sauna. I booked a twin room, but the room we were given was a double bed & a double sofa bed. The sofa bed had a very thin mattress & when my daughter lay on it, her feet were higher than her head & it was not at all comfortable. As it was only for one night, we shared the double bed, which was ok ,but had we not been related we would not have been happy. Also, when the sofa bed was extended, we could not use the dressing table because the chair was trapped by the bed, so we folded it back. Beds not as comfy as a Premier Inn which we usually use. On a plus side, the setting of the hotel is quiet & pretty & we watched the swans swimming past the restaurant window as we had our meals. Meals were good but not outstanding. July 14, 2014
