Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Short overnight stay Hotel was chosen for convenience to Gatwick Airport for a following day morning flight. Check-in was friendly and efficient, the bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The rigmarole that is involved in obtaining free WIFI is a bit annoying but that was the only negative in a satisfactory stay. May 23, 2015

Would recommend this as ideal for before/after long haul flight as only a few minutes to transfer by shuttle to/from Gatwick Airport. Staff at check-in were very helpful May 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for pre or post flight night A convenient and value for money hotel for those using Gatwick Airport. Check in is usually quick and efficient especially if an IHG memebr and the desk staff are very helpful. Park stay and go facility is easy and convenient which combined with a regular shuttle to the terminals afffords a less stressful experience than can be met at such times. The rooms are functional, clean and quiet and for those not wishing to restauant dine the menu in the bar gives sufficient choice for a meal before retiring. I often use the Holiday Inns at Gatwick and Heathrow for the pre/post air travel night necessity and have always found them good value and comfortable stays. May 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappionting The welcome at check in was exemplary as usual. However the experience with the malfunctioning door keys which enforced a longish walk to and from the room on 4 occasions (because the lifts were out of order too!!) before the problem was solved with a room change, was not up to standard. Each time I returned with the door keys I felt the counter service was perfunctory, off hand, and had the feeling that I was just a nuisance. I had to suggest the room change - that should have been offered to me much earlier. I had endured a 4 hour drive to the hotel from home and was not best pleased with all the inconvenience. It transpired that the door lock itself was at fault. It just took to long for the staff to believe me that it was not a case of simply "revalidating" the keys. I do travel from Gatwick airport several times per year but this experience will not encourage me to stay at this particular unit again.. May 22, 2015
