Janice the front desk Manager was exceptionally helpful in correcting a snafu with reservations. She went over and beyond normal customer service and made us feel very welcome. I feel this come naturally to theentire staff at this property and I highly recommend it for business or pleasure.

Patrice, the Front Desk Manager, was exceptionally friendly in making our stay both enjoyable and helped with a reservation snafu. She went out of her way and it was appreciated. We could easily tell that helping guests comes easy for her.

When I booked the room nothing was said about being under construction.
No breakfast , NO restaurant. and only one entrance to come and go it was out of the way.
Long check in lines.
Usually don't have a problem will stay again. but would recommend you tell people when booking the hotel is under construction.
the staff I dealt with was very friendly
and I booked for 1 night and ended up staying 2 when asked at hotel for extra night they told me they were booked but I went online and was able to book extra night

Everything was okay but when i booked they didn't tell me they were under construction. so the restaurant was closed.
there was only one door to go in and out of . kind of out of the way

Although we had a long wait for check in, the staff was very friendly. The that everyone in our family agreed on was how awesome the beds were. We were all able to get a good night rest because they were so comfortable.

Outside entrances from parking lots were not in service . Nothing like walking the whole way around the building in very cold winds to get in the only working entrance!. Hotel under renovation and was not guest friendly.

To my surprise the hotel lobby is being remodeled, and you check in the side entrance.. The restaurant bar is in a banquet room.. Would have like a better discount on the room rate, as I could have stayed someplace cheaper near by.. But very nice waiter bartender, excellent service and very friendly, must enjoy his job.. Complained in the am no free breakfast bar, but a $11 breakfast.. Waiter dropped the price to $5.95.. Must say a nice waiter once again.. Hotel manger seems to walk around and say hello.. So all and all it was a nice stay, nice pool and very quite still as the lobby is far from the rooms..

Construction was going on during my visit. There were times during the day when I didn't have a working phone or internet. Front desk when I checked in was not trained, and couldn't even find my reservation. When I went to check out the hotel owed me 75.00 in cash and lady took for ever to refund my money, she didn't know how and had to call someone to help. I unually enjoy staying at Holiday Inns that's why I am a priority member, but this stay was not very enjoyable. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I had to go to the front dest just to get my room cleaned, it should have been done before I returned home in the late afternoon. and no there was not a do not service sign on my door.

At first we were a little concerned when we saw that the hotel was being remodeled. This usually means that we'll be uncomfortable due to all the mess. Not the case here at all! Not only were we able to totally relax, but the place was so clean! The staff was also very nice and went the extra mile for us when we asked for any little thing. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back!! We got a lot for our value!!!

I have stayed here before and am heading back again. Great place, great service. Everyone is absolutely there to help you and the food is fantastic. For dinner I had the Teriaky Salmon.

Hotel has gone thru many changes over the last 4 years, but the end is near. Great Butler rate, easy highway access. Quiet. Staff great to work with. Good quality linen. We keep going back.

I have been traveling to Carmel Indiana for 3 months and have stayed at the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Carmel everytime. The staff at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced in any hotel that I have stayed at. The hotel is very clean and has everything that I need. The fridge and microwaves are a huge plus for me since I stay for a couple of weeks at a time. The fitness center and pool are in a great location in the hotel and are very private. It is great to have a place to work out for free when I am not at home. The food in the Bar/Lounge for dinner is fantastic and they have a great variety on the menu. Breakfast is also really good and priced just right.
I would def recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Carmel Indiana area. The entire staff makes you feel right at home.

Located on the north side, very convenient to I-465, with many restaurants of all sorts nearby. An easy 20-minute (10 mile) drive to the state fairgrounds
The dining room is well-appointed, has excellent food, and an attentive staff.
Front desk people were eager to please.
Even the maintenance staff was cheerful, wishing us a 'good morning' and 'thanks for staying with Holiday Inn.'

The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. When showering the steam makes the room so stuffy. We stayed 2 nights. The second day we mentioned it to the front desk and the receptionist tried very hard to make things right. She knew we did not want to move all our stuff to another room at the late hour we came in, so she offered a key to the vacant room next door to use that shower. Unfortunately that bathroom also had a non-functioning exhaust fan also.
EVERYTHING else was wonderful. Room was clean, beds comfy, and furnishings beautiful.

I have stayed at this Hotel for over three years and I keep returning due to the wonderful staff that takes the time to remember your name and make you feel welcomed everytime. The food is delicious and the rooms are very nice and have all been redecorated.

This hotel provides full comfort and accessibility . With different styles of pillows to cater to your sleeping needs and a jacuzzi within close proximity to relax and still be close to you room, this hotel has it all. With close surrounding restaurants and things to do, you'll love your stay. Wine and dine downstairs and at the bar, or just pick up a snack near the lobby. There is always a reason to stay in if you desire!

My first morning I did not have hot water at all. I informed the desk and they mentioned it was an old building and they were sorry. Maintenance would address it. That evening and the next morning I had very warm water. On third day the water was cold again.
They need to get this fixed for good !!

This location is still upgrading to the next level so a few things are still being worked out in the building. However the staff are excellent, well trained and provide outstanding service. Special notice to Zac and Stephanie who always treat me and all of the visitors with the greatest level of service.

We arrived late on Friday evening...we had made reservations for a two night stay and we were greeting as a platinum priority club member. The hotel is located at the end of a winding frontage road, but once you figure out where to turn it's not hard to find. I believe this used to be a hotel owned by another company as I stayed here years ago when a friend was hospitalized nearby. We could tell Holiday Inn has updated the hotel recently and were still doing some renovations in the elevators. No problems with our room, comfortable bed, clean accommodations, quiet room, and a quality breakfast buffet. We visit Indianapolis 1-2 weekends a month and this will be added to our list of places we stay. I always check for the best price for a room, and this one happened to have the best deal for last weekend. They were resurfacing their parking lots, so parking spaces were almost all used due to closing part of their parking area, but that was probably completed this past week so that should not be an issue in the future. Very friendly staff in the dining room and at the front desk!

The hotel is undergoing renovation. The rooms have been updated and are nice. The elevators are in need of some work as well as the hot water system. Not a bad place to stay but they need to complete the repairs to meet the standard of most Holiday Inns I have stayed in lately. I will probably stay here again as I will be working in the area more often.

This hotel is in a very quiet location off I-465. The hotel is beautiful, very quiet, and very clean. As a Platinum Member I was offered either a snack or 1000 Priority Points. I LOVE this kind of deal! We will definitely stay here again!

I was pleased with everyone there. The room was clean, the restaurant served great food and everyone smiled when I walked passed. They actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs, which is rare. I loved the swimming pool for our kids, however it's not very deep, only 3 1/2 feet, which for them was perfect. They've obviously done renovations and it looks wonderful. The young lady at the desk told me their still more to be done, but I don't see why, its beautiful. I said I would make sure that I mentioned someone, because her smile was just warming and the was Patricia at the front desk. I think she may be the manager. Very sweet, and was always willing to help. I will never stay anywhere else. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The propery and location of hotel are very well located. The facility is going thru a face lift although the current condition is still very nice.
When I entered my roon, there was a sound machine on the bed with a note that many people find comfort in listening to sounds to improve their night of sleep. I travel quite a bit and thought this was a nice touch if I would need it. Well, once in the room, atemptiing to do some work, I noticed the traffic noise coming off the highway which is on the back side of the hotel. No big deal while I was working. Big deal when I went to bed. The noise did level did not get any better. I tried the sound machine, I had it on high and it still did not muffle out the road noise, horrible night sleep. Now I know the sound machine was not a nice touch, but an attempt to dea with a problem that they must be aware of. if you get a room here you better make sure you are not on the back side of the hotel otherwise plan on a poor nights sleep.
