The room was clean and comfortable - both the bed and the temperature. Use of the shuttle services were timely and accommodating during early morning and late night requests. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by STAY AWAY ELECTRIC CAR OWNERS This place was a recently gutted and refurbished hotel (according to the staff) and the website boasts about "using the IHG Green Engage systems which one part of it "smart design" to help lower the carbon footprint which they want us to be a part of. Yet this newly refurbished hotel using the IHG Green Engage system was smart designed to not have even ONE electric plug outside for other green clients to use to charge up their electric vehicles! When I asked why, they stated that very few places in Indianapolis have electric car charging stations. But I found one just 1 block from the venue for the play that we came into town to watch. I tried to get them to find an outlet that I might be able to drop my 100 foot extension cord from but all the windows were sealed and they didn't want to let me run one out the door because of safety concerns #which I totally understand... I am a total cad#. The next issue is that when we came back very late and tired from our show, we found that the courtyard doors were locked up and we had to walk around the courtyard inside the hallways to get to the elevator. Then the next morning, the last straw. We went down to get breakfast and found that this is the first Holiday Inn hotel that I have stayed in that DIDN'T include breakfast! Three days later we stayed at another Holiday Inn hotel in IA and not only were there plugs outside for us, there was breakfast included. We used my reward points for both hotels. We also selected the bonus "welcome" points instead of getting the welcome sack. Today while checking my account, I found that the place we stayed at LAST NIGHT has already awarded us our points while this hotel still hasn't issued our points... and they have had 4 days to do it. While I suggest that electric car owners stay away, everyone else, I would stay at your own risk! May 6, 2015

Off the beaten path, close enough to business centers in area, small drive from airport but well worth it if you also need space and time to relax. Enjoyed the lounge staff greatly, remember your names and particulars - very friendly and engaging. May 5, 2015
