Stayed here to see what it was like, overall it was ok. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. On the downside breakfast was an unexpected extra £16.95 (for a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee) The local tube station is an uncomfortable 10 min walk along a busy road. I don't want to be too harsh but there are better hotels for the same price in central London.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bundl87 Clean room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed.
Overall experience was mixed. Again proper attention was paid to ensure the conviviality of the room by house keeping . Front desk staff were at best disconnected from guest. Calls to front desk were not answered or returned in most cases. Environmentally the facility is good condition. Decorum was obvious around the lobby and Bar area. Yes I may recommend the hotel to a potential guest but there has to be a concsensus effort by the front desk staff to improve on their interpersonal relationship .

Service, room, cleanliness were all above average or excellent, however, being asked to pay £16.50 per person for breakfast was exhorbitant and obscene. An excellent breakfast was obtained at an excellent local cafe for £3.95 per person.

My husband, son and I have stayed here on previous trips to London on speciaal offers in one room but this time we booked two rooms for a birthday treat in the capital for my elderly Mum. Taking a lady in her 80s and a 12 year old boy for a special occasion it was really important that the accommodatiopn, food and service were up to scratch. The Holiday Inn Brent Cross didn't let us down. 2 very comfortable rooms immediately acroos the corridor from one another as requested, very pleasant and helpful staff offering good service and really good food. The guy behind the bar even went to the cellar to open a fresh bottle of proseco for me when mine ordered by the galss was litle flat. We dined in one night and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal meeting all our diverse requirments including my picky son's.
The shuttle bus to the tube station and back is the clincher however as without this complementary service the hotel would not be a convenient option for visiting the sights in central London. We'll be back I'm sure

we have stopped at the holiday inn brentcross 3 times in the past, and never had a bad word to say about our stay their. So you would understand we had trust in every thing we asked for.It might sound triveal but we asked for a 7.00am call and didnt set our own alarms, tthe call didnt happen, which made us late going out for our day in london. It will not stop us staying at the Huliday inn,it just took the edge off our visit.

On yet another most enjoyable visit to London we were based at Brent Cross where we are always made to feel welcome and valued. The reception and check-in was warm, friendly and very efficient. My status as a Gold Elite Priority Club client was recognised and acknowledged. Of course we look forward to many more visits.

We used this hotel for a wembley final, it is in a great location at the end of the M1, the reception and the bar staff make you feel really welcome and spend time to chat to you to make you feel at home. e used the transfer to the tube and had only to wait for 5 mins, hopefully if we get to go to wembley again I will use this holiday inn again. Even though the hotel was full the breakfast was good, with everything available

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tyaw4020 Service beyond expectation
Given a room upon check-in but had to move the next day after realizing carpet in front of bathroom was soaking wet.
Moved to a different room the next day for two nights and was advised to move to another room for a second time as shower not functioning properly although we did not request for one.
Caring management and making sure we were comfortable.
Breakfast was superb. Apparently they were voted "Best breakfast" by IHG Group, I believe. Also TV programs extensive albeit no free internet.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and I have to mention them here - Ms Magda, Ms Beata and Mr Frank.
I am recommending my daughter to stay at the same hotel when they visit London in September 2013. I would also stay here on my next visit.
Thank you guys. Keep up the good work.

If you book early you can enjoy fantastic discount on the room rate. It is a family hotel as its welcome kids and provide free shuttle to nearest underground station.

I have stayed here before but i dont often eat in the restaurant. However, last week I was staying with a larger group of colleagues and we ate in the restaurant on 4 consecutive nights. Each night the service was very slow. It was taking up to 1/2 hour to get a drink and the meals were taking well over an hour. We had to remind the serving staff to bring desserts more than 30 minutes after they cleared our meal dishes away.
I also did not get an upgraded room. As a priority club member I thought this would have been granted given there were other members of my party who did get upgraded rooms who are not club members.

The hotel was clean and tidy, with a comfortable welcoming. The staff were professional and polite, but a bit souless! Never needed the use of staff knowledge.
It has a good size restaurant and bar, and the food is good. Breakfast is plentyful with a lot to choose from.
The rooms are tidy and clean and well presented, though sometimes a little careless with the bedspread and pillow ties.
Location is lacking inspiration, though a taxi is always available to transport you if needed.
Parking is ample.
The room was a bit noisy, a low hum was emiting from the fridge, but not too much to disturb sleep. Curtains are very thick, so kept the light out in the morning which is really good!
Bed was very comfortable.

Located on edge of London with easy access to main roads and excellent shuttle bus to local tube. Rooms very comfortable with excellent sound proofing and air conditioning. Staff always polite. Food first class. Bar comfortable and relaxed. Shopping mall right across the road. Perfect for everyone whether on business or pleasure.

Situated just a the end of M! it is always the hotel of our choice. You can park your car in their car-park for £5 per night and forget about it. Their is a regular free shuttle service which ail willingly take you to the underground or bus station. The rooms are clean, staff courteous and a good optional breakfast. The only problem we have had is that the showers are a bit dated and needs attention to though they are still in working condition.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Glenn53 Roon and stay excellent although problem with housekeeping on final day took some of the gloss from the general standard up until then.
We arrived late on the evening and check in was good, room pleasant and comfortable. Organsied a late check out (2.30pm) with the staff. Overnight stay was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Courtesy bus to the tube station was good. My wife wanted to do a little shopping after a nice long soak in the bath. However, housekeeping knocked on the door and entered 3 times whilst she was in the bath and she eventually had to abandon it!!. Each time the staff member apologised but despite this, 3 different people entered the room. After aborting the bath, she walked across to do a little shopping before returning to find herself locked out of the room!!!
Very poor from housekeeping spoilt what was up until then an excellent stay. Shame

Could do with a little more update eg. a shower screen rather than curtain, but all very good value for money. I'm not too sure as to whether the hotel houses immigrant people/customers on entry into this Country which presumebly London Council fund. As a British tax payer do not agree with, however that is a Political issue

Lovely staff, mostly very friendly, great shuttle service - big bonus to get to / from Tube station.
Platinum card holders - dont expect an upgrade
Food - very poor. Cold steak, warm replacement coincided with sickness during the night.

Handily situated at the end of the M1, the hotel can be relied upon for a good, stress free night's rest, and an equally good breakfast. Following refurbishment a couple years or so ago the place definitely hits the mark for people, like me, travelling to London by car on business..
The rooms are all large enough with comfortable beds, and the executive rooms are better still. The standards of room comfort, cleanliness, bathroom hygene, and the general upkeep of the hotel itself are all very good. The staff are friendly, the bar/restaurant space and service are good, and the breakfast fare has improved to at least rival the 'big breakfast' at the newer and better Premier Inns, so well worth getting up 30 minutes earlier for.
Importantly, when driving long distances to work in and around London the hotel car park is large and well lit. The courtesy bus to Brent Cross tube station and its friendly professional driver are an important and welcome part of the offer. I stay there frequently as a matter of choice.

I only stayed one night, but I am a regular Holiday Inn customer. This was one of the best. The staff were extremely friendly, and the hotel lobby, corridors and my room very clean. Parking charges were a modest £5 a day, but there was a complementary shuttle service anyway to the Underground.

Hotel is close to the M1 and North Circular about half an hour tube ride from the centre of London. Rooms are spacious and quiet. A shuttle service runs between the hotel and Brent Cross tube avoiding a difficult walk alongside busy roads. The best aspect of this hotel is its staff. The reception staff, especially Magda and Zoe, could not do enough to help during our stay. The shuttle drivers and breakfast room staff too were were clearly committed to making our stay pleasant.

The evening I arrived I ordered a Club sandwich with chips. When it arrived there was confusion whether it was for another guest. The staff were very polite and assured me all was well. The sandwich ingredients tasted fresh however the toasted bread was cool and dry and the chips were not hot. Although after a long day I ate and went straight to bed.
The following day the breakfast was very good.
At all times the staff were very polite and professional.
The hotel was clean and well maintained.
Overall I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Good experience at the Holiday Inn Brent Cross.
I had a welcoming evening with free drinks for Members, organized by the Hotel manager..
Good rest at night, nothing to complain apart room temperature a bit low and noisy fan if i turn on the heater..
Good rich breakfast, at a nice rate, with friendly staff
Overall the hotel is nice, with the basic services (no gym or swimming pool), room is a good size, location is ok if you need services in the area..
Good shuttle bus to the tube station.. however not good if you plan to spend your nights at the west end theatres...

Throughout our stay, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Although I have marked down the "atmosphere" as being poor, this is not a reflection on the staff but on the ambience of the lounge area.
This is our second visit and will certainly be returning.
