Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Rude The staff need to be reminded what their purpose as a Front Desk worker is; you are the face and voice of the company. Talking in the side room with another co-worker while the line of customer grows longer and longer isn't acceptable. maintenance workers lounging in the lobby while trash flows from the ally through the propped open door into the lobby isn't acceptable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great hospitality all the way! From the moment we stepped out of our car we were welcomed with smiles and hospitality! From check in to check out I couldn't have asked for better service! We came for a couple of fun days in Memphis and started it out right at the Holiday Inn Memphis-Downtown (Beale St) I came in a little frazzled from the trip. Warmly greeted by the day manager and escorted in for check in. She and the valet took care of everything! Night manager had just came on his shift and saw I needed a bit of rescuing and brought a nice cup of coffee to save the day! Later I needed something from my car and the young men in charge of the valet service took care of me in a flash. They were very sweet and I enjoyed chatting with them. All in all a perfect stay at the Holiday Inn! March 27, 2015

The beds were really soft, room was a little smaller than my normal hotels stay but I made due. the breakfast food was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful. The bell captain Trena was very professional and polite. Hotel was ideal and walking from Beale Street. There is alot of local attractions in the area. March 26, 2015

Any questions or services we asked about were answered or solved with a smile and an offer help with any other service we might need. The staff helped us learn the town as far as food and entertainment. Maybe the best hotel stay we ever had. March 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall Medicore Experience This was my first time to Memphis, TN and my stay at the Holiday Inn Downtown Memphis was sub par to say the least. Poor water pressure in the shower along with the flip of a coin if the water will turn hot or not. The house keeping attendants didn't replace my towels or my complimentary shampoo bottle, when they were clearly gone. However, the staff was very friendly when i had requests, and fulfilled them nicely. March 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service I would have to say that the highlight of my stay was the valet. I do not remember his name, but he was very kind and courteous. He answered any questions that we had and even gave us coupons on our arrival. The hotel is in a great location for visiting Beale Street and right around the corner from Rendevous BBQ (excellent place to eat, by the way). It is only 15 minutes away from Graceland. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to Beale Street and not spend a fortune. March 18, 2015
