The front desk staff, valet parking and service employees are very courteous and helpful. We will return and suggest this place for friends to stay at during time in Memphis. April 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff & service Overall stay was very good. Room was small and bathroom extremely small. Service and staff was excellent. Somes names I remember were Rianna, Jessee, Trevea, Daniel, Jamiera. There were several others that were so accommodating, but I didn't get everyone's name. Please see that they get complimented by the management. The staff is what made me want to stay there again and recommend it to my friends. April 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It's just OK First my friend booked a month earlier and got is room for seventy dollars cheaper for a 2 night stay.(same web site for the same room type) I called and asked if I could get the same rate and I was told no by Holiday Inn manager. Dang. We checked in and I asked for a king room. They told me OK. Great. We were out to eat with my friend and they told me they got twenty dollars for breakfast vouchers for two days. I did not get these? I went to the desk and asked for them also. I was told no and it was a mistake that my friend got them. They gave me ONE voucher for one day. I understand if we were not supposed to get it but if one gets it and I don't I feel like I am being cheated. My friends eat breakfast at a different time then I did and we got the same exact thing and with the vouchers they did not have to pay anything (waitress told they did not have to pay# I had to pay around six dollars plus tip. And it’s not about the six dollars it’s having to pay and someone else not having to pay. My wife and I were in the elevator and one of the workers asked me if my room was all right. I told her no. There is a lot of mold in the shower. #She asked me. I did not go to her) She told me that she would take care of it. So what it seemed like they did is that they just sprayed it down with bleach because there was an over whelming smell of it when we got to our room later that night. And I could still see the mold. I had to go to three different floors to get Ice because none of them were working. An employee told me people turn them off because they are too loud? It is not a bad place. I wish they would have worked with me on the price. I am an IGH Gold member and a diamond member at another hotel chain. I stay at a lot of hotels and this experience makes me want to stay at another hotel chain. April 10, 2015
