Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service I was not welcome when I walked in and waited standing about 5 minutes before 1 of the 2 front desk people said What can i help you with? They were checking in another guest but still at least a Welcome we will be with you shortly would have been nice. The lobby and restaurant look modern but as soon as you walk out the elevator it looks really outdated. The old room doors make the hallway look creepy. You have to close the room door really hard to be able to lock it. I guess there isn't much insulation in the walls because you could hear everyone talking in their rooms as you walked down the hallway. The AC wont stop running even with the temp. set it got really cold during the night. the beds were dressed nice but the mattresses were old and way too soft, felt like I was on a waterbed. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautigul hotel on the inside, great service We had a great stay. The only complaint we had was about the food for the complimentary breakfast. Although the staff was very helpful, the selection and quality of food left much to be desired. As far as the room, the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The lighting needs to be improved in the room. Without outside light the room was very dark, with no entrance lighting when you step into the room. The towels could be updated. The beds were clean and super comfortable. The staff as a whole were excellent. August 14, 2015

Only two negative comments: The coffee pot in the room did not work and the shower curtain was not installed properly. Other than that, our short visit was pleasant. August 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick conveniant overhight stay in New Orleans During my business trip ( From Houston ) to the New Orleans area I picked the HI near the airport, as a colleague from Canada was flying in and meeting me there. I was impressed with the location, the quietness, friendliness and value at this hotel. I did not use the pool, restaurant or business facilities, but was able to glance them over and all looked up to par. I can advice and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this location.
