Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service During this visit, we needed a recliner for my 89-year-old aunt whose bad back prevents her from sleeping in a bed, but I was unable to find one to rent locally. I asked the sales staff if they knew where I might find one. GM Rick Engle brought one from his home to loan us for the three-night stay. Incredible service. We're very thankful for this gesture. I spend 90+ nights each year in this hotel for business. The staff is unfailingly helpful, efficient and pleasant, March 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One of the better in Metarie Staff was excellent. Room was nice enough, very comfy bed and nice shower. wifi cut out every night around midnight and stayed gone until after we left at 8am. Visited lounge/restaurant around 9pm and stood for five minutes before being helped (sign said wait). Food was mediocre and wait staff was in the kitchen not helping customers most of the time. Several people came to the please wait to be seated sign and left after waiting several minutes. Not many nice places to stay in Metarie, this is one of the better options. March 27, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stressful time at the HI My stay was anything but convenient, my hotel key stopped working almost daily Also, the shuttle service was limited to just the airport, this hotel is so isolated that a cab down to the French Quarter costs about 30 dollars, to get to Mid City it's around 15 dollars. I left my headphones at the hotel and have tried to talk to the head of housekeeping multiple times. They don't answer the phone and my messages haven't been returned. On a more positive note: the bartenders are fantastic, the bed is comfortable, and there's a great gumbo joint right next door! March 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms Small We were visiting New Orleans to look at schools for our daughter. This room was adequate, as was most of the hotel. The rooms were on the small side and also showed their age. Electrical outlets in the lamps were worn to the point that phone chargers would not stay connected. More electrical outlets would also be nice, as we all have personal devices to charge overnight. The buffet breakfast was overpriced for what was served - to the point that we dined off site our second morning. March 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and efficient We stayed at the Holiday Inn Metairie because of their park and cruise service. Our primary concern was getting to the port on time and being picked up to return to our car in a timely manner. We have used many shuttle services in the past and this was one of the most efficient pick-up we have had. The hotel itself was also nice. The staff were a highlight -- efficient, courteous, friendly. It was a good overall experience. March 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service Overall a great stay. The receptionist was nice, the beds were comfortable. The only thing I encountered was the TV did not work and the shower head wasn't anchored to the wall.. Looks like they were in the middle of construction and forgot to attach the base to the wall. But that didn't really affect my shower. The airport shuttle driver was slightly late in the morning, but I can't complain too much. This had been an overall decent stay. March 13, 2015
